An open API unit is common to upper applications on the basis of a wired network interface and provides an API that is a communication function realized as components. A communication capability providing unit combines the API with the contents selected by the contents provider, and adds a communication function to the contents on the basis of usable network resources. The contents providing unit provides contents in which a communication function is added.

The method for controlling electric power includes transmitting an an Ethernet packet type command message to at least one electric power sensor node through an LRWPAN-Ethernet bridge in accordance with profile information related to an electric power control, the profile information being set by a user; receiving LR-WPAN packet type response messages transmitted from the at least one electric power sensor node in response to the Ethernet package type command message as Ethernet packet type response messages through the LRWPAN-Ethernet bridge; and providing a control result of an electric power equipment corresponding to the at least one electric power sensor node to the user based on the Ethernet packet type response messages.

A congestion control access gateway and a congestion control method for the same are provided. The congestion control access gateway interfaces between a broadband convergence network and a ubiquitous sensor network including sensors and terminals. The congestion control access gateway receives data from the ubiquitous sensor network. When a congestion situation has occurred, the congestion control access gateway detects the congestion situation based on data received in the congestion situation and broadcasts congestion notification and control messages in response to the congestion situation detection. The congestion control access gateway generates a congestion situation detection profile as a result of the congestion situation detection and performs priority queuing of the received data based on the congestion situation detection profile and service classes. The congestion control access gateway determines destination of the queued data using the congestion situation detection profile and routes the data to a corresponding service.
