A wireless transmitter which performs reconfiguration for high mobility and high throughput includes: an operation mode decision unit configured to decide an operation mode depending on mobility, a required data rate, and wireless link performance; a clock generation unit configured to generate a plurality of clock signals; a selection unit configured to select necessary clock signals among the plurality of clock signals generated by the clock generation unit according to the operation mode decided by the operation mode decision unit; and at least one or more digital modulation units configured to modulate transmitted data by adjusting a signal bandwidth of a frequency domain and a transmission time of a time domain using the clock signals selected by the selection unit.

A transmit power control method of a first station in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system includes: receiving path loss information from an (access point) AP, the path loss information containing a maximum value among path losses between the AP and at least one or more stations included in the WLAN system; controlling a transmit power by using the path loss information; and transmitting a frame according to the controlled transmit power. In said controlling the transmit power by using the path loss information, the transmit power is controlled by using a path loss obtained by adding the maximum value and a path loss between the first station and the AP or by using the path loss between the first station and the AP.

An exemplary automatic gain control device includes: a radio frequency receiver for receiving a plurality of first signals through a plurality of antennas, respectively controlling gains of the plurality of first received signals, and outputting the plurality of the first signals having the controlled gain as a plurality of second signals; a signal saturation detecting unit for outputting a saturation index determination value when the number of plurality of second signals that are greater than a threshold value is greater than a predetermined number; and a gain controlling unit for comparing power values of the plurality of second signals to detect one power value, and outputting a gain value determined based on a detected power value and a saturation index determination value to the radio frequency receiver.

Provided is an apparatus and method for transmitting and receiving data. The method includes respectively estimating a carrier frequency offset (CFO) of data packets transmitted during a transmit opportunity (TXOP) period by a unit of a packet; calculating an average CFO of the estimated CFOs estimated during a window period for the data packets; and compensating an estimated CFO of a predetermined data packet to one of the estimated CFO of the predetermined data packet and the average CFO, and restoring the predetermined data packet.

The apparatus for processing a signal in a receiver of a wireless communication system includes a carrier sensor configured to sense a carrier used in the wireless communication system, a decoder configured to decode the detected carrier signal to a signal and data, and a controller configured to control supplying power and a clock only to the carrier sensor during carrier sensing, and supplying power and a clock to an overall receiver when a carrier is sensed.

A channel sounding method in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system is provided. The method, performed by a transmitter, includes transmitting a null data packet announcement (NDPA) frame to a receiver to initiate a channel sounding procedure; transmitting a null data packet (NDP) to the receiver and receiving a feedback frame. The feedback frame includes a plurality of segment frames and a channel feedback report. The channel feedback report is split into a plurality of feedback segments. Each of the plurality of feedback segments is respectively included in each of the plurality of segment frames. The each of the plurality of segment frames includes a first-segment subfield indicating whether the each of the plurality of feedback segment included is a first segment and a remaining-segment subfield indicating the number of remaining feedback segments.

A method and an apparatus for a transmitter to transmit data in a wireless communication system are provided. This method includes: generating a first signal field including at least one symbol; generating a second signal field configured by repeating at least one symbol of the first signal field; and transmitting a frame including the first signal field, the second signal field, and a data field and a first symbol of the second signal field is modulated through binary phase shift keying (BPSK) and symbols from a second symbol of the second signal field are modulated through Q-BPSK. According to the present invention, a service filed can be extended while maintaining compatibility with a wireless communication system in the related art by transmitting a frame using symbol repetition.

A data communication method in a basic service set (BSS) of a wireless communication system using a carrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance (CSMA/CA) protocol includes: performing, by first and second nodes within the BSS, communication within a predetermined first time period; and transmitting, by a third node within the BSS, data to a fourth node within the first time period through a channel which is not used by the other nodes.
