Abstract:
A quartz sensor method and system are disclosed in which a plurality of SAW sensing resonators can be mechanically simulated for implementation upon a quartz wafer substrate. The quartz wafer substrate can thereafter be appropriately etched to produce a quartz diaphragm from the quartz wafer substrate. A plurality of SAW sensing resonators (e.g., pressure, reference and/or temperature SAW resonators) can then be located upon the quartz wafer substrate, which is based upon the previously mechanically simulated for implementation upon the substrate to thereby produce a quartz sensor package from the quartz wafer substrate.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for sharing data provided by a first application to two or more additional applications (e.g., probes) are disclosed. It is ascertained whether the first application is executing. When it is ascertained that the first application is executing, data produced by the first application is provided to the two or more additional applications if data provided by the first application can be shared by the two or more additional applications. When it is ascertained that the first application is not executing or if data provided by the executing first application cannot be shared by the two or more additional applications, the first application is executed such that data provided by the first application can be provided to the two or more additional applications and the data produced by the first application is distributed to the two or more additional applications.
Abstract:
A stabilized jack stand for a vehicle comprises a vertically directed leg for location on a foot, and an extendable portion for supporting a vehicle chassis, the leg defining a peripheral area relative to the foot plate. An engagement element releasably secures the foot to the leg, and the foot extends to an area beyond the periphery area of the leg. The leg a side profile extends from a wider portion adjacent to the foot to a narrower portion towards the extendable portion of the jack stand, and the leg has a cross-sectional profile including at least two inter-engaging walls and the engagement element being for interfacing with the two walls.

Abstract:
A woodworking machine includes a base, an adjusting device, and an adjustable worktable. The adjusting device is engaged with the base and includes a platform, a plurality of adjusters, and a plurality of fastening members. The platform is slidably engaged with the base. The plurality of adjusters are adjustable, and the plurality of fastening members are releasably inserted through the plurality of adjustors respectively. The adjustable worktable is engaged with the adjusting device. Moreover, the platform bears the adjustable worktable and the plurality of adjusters are abutted against the adjustable worktable. Additionally, the adjustable worktable is adjustably moved upon adjusting of the adjustors, and prior to adjusting each adjustor, the fastening member engaged therewith is removed.
Abstract:
A system for automatically sharing virtual objects between different mixed reality environments is described. In some embodiments, a see-through head-mounted display device (HMD) automatically determines a privacy setting associated with another HMD by inferring a particular social relationship with a person associated with the other HMD (e.g., inferring that the person is a friend or acquaintance). The particular social relationship may be inferred by considering the distance to the person associated with the other HMD, the type of environment (e.g., at home or work), and particular physical interactions involving the person (e.g., handshakes or hugs). The HMD may subsequently transmit one or more virtual objects associated with the privacy setting to the other HMD. The HMD may also receive and display one or more other virtual objects from the other HMD based on the privacy setting.
Abstract:
A worktable includes a protective member designed therefor. The worktable includes a platform, and at least one extended platform connected thereto. The protective member includes a frame and a base connected on a bottom edge of the frame. The base including a first base section on which the platform is supported and at least one second base section on which the at least one extended platform is supported. The frame includes a periphery enclosing the platform and the at least one extended platform so as to prevent them from being damaged.
Abstract:
An adjustment unit is installed to a woodworking machine including a base member and an auxiliary platform and is provided between the base member and the auxiliary platform. The adjustment unit includes an adjustment element including an operated portion formed on an end thereof and an adjustment portion formed on another end thereof. A first connective element includes a longitudinal first connective portion coupled to the adjustment portion of the adjustment element and a second connective element coupled to the first connective element and driving the operated portion of the adjustment element to adjust a horizontal position of the auxiliary platform.
