Abstract:
A hydraulic connector arrangement includes a shaft member, a banjo fitting, a pair of sealing members and a banjo fixing member. The shaft member has a hydraulic passageway and an opening that extends from the hydraulic passageway to an outer surface of the shaft member. The banjo fitting rotatably extends around the shaft member covering the opening. The pair of sealing members are disposed between the shaft member and the banjo member and on opposite sides of the opening. The banjo fixing member is coupled to the shaft member to retain the banjo fitting to the shaft member. Further, the banjo fixing member is dimensioned to allow rotation of the banjo relative to the shaft member and the banjo fixing member.

The bracket is configured to be connected to the control lever and includes an inlet opening with a center axis, a first tapered portion extending along an axial direction, and at least one tapered outer serration formed on the first tapered portion. The expanding bolt includes a tubular portion and a second tapered portion extending along the axial direction. The tubular portion includes an outer threaded surface. The fixing member is disposed on the tubular portion of the expanding bolt. The first and second tapered portions are configured to operate so as to push the fixing member against an inner surface of the bicycle handlebar when the device is mounted to the bicycle handlebar.
Abstract:
A method for producing crystals of pyromellitic dianhydride is disclosed which is characterized by setting the water content of an atmosphere used in handling the crystals of pyromellitic dianhydride at a temperature of not higher than 120° C. at a level of not more than 4 vol. %. Particularly by supplying an inert gas having a water content of not more than 4 vol. % to the step of production, it is made possible to prevent the conversion of pyromellitic dianhydride by hydration very efficiently.
Abstract:
A storing device is disclosed having a gas-sealing device and/or a heating device provided for a pipe connecting a storing tank for an easily polymerizable and/or coagulating liquid substance and a liquid sealing implement-protecting device. A method for the control of the pressure in the storing device is also disclosed. This invention contemplates protecting a storing device against deformation and fracture.
Abstract:
There is provided a turbo blower for lasers which is capable of effectively cooling a shaft and bearings thereof. Oil held in a shaft support member is drawn up via an oil inlet port by a centrifugal force generated by rotation of the shaft, and passes through a cooling oil passage extending through the shaft to be discharged from an oil outlet port provided below an upper one of rolling bearings as the bearings. The oil discharged from the outlet port returns via an oil return passage to an oil sump. While passing through the oil return passage, the oil is cooled by a coolant circulating through an coolant passage. Further, part of the oil discharged from the oil outlet port is supplied to the upper one of the bearings for lubrication. On the other hand, part of the oil held within the shaft support member is drawn up along a tapered portion of an oil suction head by the centrifugal force generated by rotation of the oil suction head for lubrication of a corresponding one of the rolling bearings. A large amount of oil flowing through the cooling oil passage can deprive the shaft and the rotor of heat, thereby effectively cooling the bearings as well.
Abstract:
An apparatus for a bicycle brake comprises a housing with a first piston bore, a first piston disposed in the first piston bore, and a first piston rod fixedly attached to the first piston and extending from the first piston toward the outside of the housing. The first piston rod includes a first brake arm coupling portion for coupling to a first brake arm, and an adjustment mechanism adjusts a distance of the first brake arm coupling portion relative to the piston.
Abstract:
A synchronization control circuit applicable to a TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) digital mobile communication system for controlling the transmission and reception time base of a mobile station on which the circuit is mounted. The synchronization control circuit includes a plurality of time base counter circuits each counting down standard clock pulses to generate a plurality of timing pulse sequences having time bases which are respectively associated with the cells of the system. All the time base counter circuits share a single counter controller which controls the writing and reading of counts out of the time base counter circuits. The counter controller selectively produces the outputs of one of the time base counter circuits as a timing pulse sequence. The synchronization control circuit, therefore, is small size and light weight and saves power.
Abstract:
In a TDMA cellular mobile communications system, a mobile station receives a TDM signal from a cell site and detects a sync, a timeslot assignment signal and a signal indicating the propagation delay time of signals between the cell site and the mobile station. From an assigned timeslot, a time interval from a detected frame sync to the time of transmission of a burst signal from the mobile station is determined. The propagation delay time indicated by the detected signal is subtracted from the determined time interval. When a frame sync is detected from the received TDM signal, clock pulses are counted until it corresponds to the subtracted time interval, whereupon a timing pulse is generated to cause a burst signal to be transmitted from the mobile station to the cell site.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for detecting an abnormal bearing condition of a blower utilized for gas laser equipment, and the purpose of the invention is to immediately find abnormal bearing conditions of the blower as a result of lubrication failures. The apparatus for detecting an abnormal bearing condition of a blower utilized for gas laser equipment is characterized in that it comprises a vibration sensor(2 ) that detects vibration of the bearing mounted at the blower(1) and outputs a vibration detected signal FIS; an amplifier(3) that amplifies the vibration detected signal FIS received from the vibration sensor(2); a comparator(4) that discriminates whether an amplified vibration detected signal FOS exceeds a determined value or not, and outputs an abnormal signal PS when it exceeds the determined value; an alarm command means(5) that outputs an alarm command signal AS when the number of the abnormal signal PS output from the comparator(4) during a determined interval exceeds a determined number; and an alarm display means(6) that displays an alarm when the alarm command signal AS is sent from the alarm command means(5 ).
