摘要： A digital mixer is capable of assigning a desired parameter to an encoder provided in a channel strip on a panel of the digital mixer. The digital mixer assigns a parameter, which corresponds to one of knob controls having switches operable to be turned on, to each encoder provided in a channel strip section on the panel in response to the operation of the switch of the one knob control provided in a selected channel section. The knob controls with the switches are not graphic symbols displayed on a display screen, but are physically disposed on the panel. Accordingly, it is possible to assign a desired parameter to an encoder with no mistake by operating a desired knob control with a switch to be turned on without a mistake.

摘要： On a digital mixer, each channel is given a channel definition defining whether the channel is to be used individually or to be used as a group along with a certain channel. When a channel strip to which a user desires to assign and a channel which the user desires to assign are selected, it is determined whether the selected channel is a channel to be used individually or to be used as a group. When it is determined that the selected channel is to be used as a group, channels belonging to the group are assigned to the selected channel strip so that the user can concurrently control respective channels' values of a parameter by use of an operating element provided on the selected channel strip.

摘要： In an audio mixer, there are stored a plurality of scene data each including, as a set of data, respective settings of a plurality of types of parameters, and these scene data are displayed on a scene data list shown on a display section. Human operator selects a desired one of the scene data from the scene data list using an increment or decrement switch. Determination is made as to whether any object-of-caution data, such as patch data, is among the plurality of types of parameters included in the selected scene data, and, if so, a caution display window is displayed to caution the human operator about the object-of-caution data.

摘要： A configuration method is performed for controlling an audio apparatus having a main block configurable for processing audio signals such as modifying and mixing of the audio signals, and peripheral units of various types being equipped with components of various types and being connectable to the main block for inputting the audio signals to be processed and outputting the audio signals processed by the main block. A first detection step is carried out for detecting when a new peripheral unit is connected to the main block. A second detection step is carried out for detecting a type of the new peripheral unit. An inquiry step is conducted for inquiring the new peripheral unit upon detection thereof about a type of a component equipped in the new peripheral unit and obtaining a reply indicating the type from the new peripheral unit. Thus, the main block can be configured according to the detected type of the new peripheral unit and the type of the component thereof indicated by the reply.

摘要： A digital mixer has a panel and a mixing processor configurable in matching with a scene to mix audio signals fed from input channels and to feed the mixed audio signals to output channels. The panel has an operator manipulable to operate the mixing processor, and a display provided for displaying a state of the mixing processor. Further, a storage is provided for storing configuration patterns of the mixing processor in correspondence to various scenes. A retriever is provided for calling one of the various scenes and for retrieving the configuration pattern corresponding to the called scene from the storage; a selector provided for selecting one of a preview mode and a non-preview mode. A controller operates when the non-preview mode is selected for actually configuring the mixing processor according to the retrieved configuration pattern to thereby enable the mixing processor to reproduce the corresponding scene, and operates when the preview mode is selected for producing a preview of a configured state of the mixing processor according to the retrieved configuration pattern without actually configuring the mixing processor to thereby enable the display to present the preview.

A particular input channel to be excluded from the plurality of input channels is set as desired. To the first output channel are set such signal paths as to allow mixing of all the signals of the selected one or more input channels. Text data indicative of the comment is stored in the DSP #2. 摘要： In a digital mixer, a storage stores operating data including a plurality of parameters for controlling states of audio signals of a plurality of channels. A signal processor performs a mixing process of the audio signals based on the operating data. A plurality of channel strips are mounted on an operating panel in correspondence to the plurality of the channels. Each channel strip includes operators arranged for controlling a corresponding channel. A display controller displays a panel imitation portion imitating an appearance of the operating panel and including a plurality of channel strip imitation images which imitate the plurality of the channel strips and which are arranged in a positional relationship corresponding to a positional relationship of the channel strips arranged on the operating panel. A parameter setter sets a value of a specific parameter of a channel corresponding to a channel strip upon detecting that the channel strip has been manipulated. A display mode setter allows each channel strip imitation image to be displayed in a display mode according to the value of the specific parameter of the corresponding channel.
