    Abstract: A method and a circuit system for driving a nebulizer are provided. When the nebulizer receives acoustic waves, a control circuit extracts audio signals from the acoustic waves. Afterwards, the control circuit determines if the audio signals are within a predetermined frequency range, and can determine whether or not to drive a circuit to produce an aerosol based on the audio signals. Further, a volume of the acoustic waves can also be used to determine whether or not to produce the aerosol, and also determine an output rate of the aerosol. The circuit system of the nebulizer includes an audio receiver for receiving the acoustic waves, an aerosol generator for producing the aerosol, and the control circuit used to control a driving circuit of the aerosol generator to drive a vibrational element to produce the aerosol through vibration in response to the audio signals and the volume.

    Abstract: A microstructured passage module for aerosol generator is provided. The module includes a plate overlaid by a cover thus forming a compartment, an entrance for a liquid and an exit. The plate includes a plurality of walls parallel to each other over its entire width so as to define a plurality of passages therebetween. Moreover, a plurality of pillars protruding from the plate are distributed in at least section of the passages. A column is disposed proximate to the exit and blocks a substantial part thereof, leaving longitudinal aisles for the liquid to flow towards the exit. The liquid flows through the compartment from the entrance to the exit such that an aerosol is produced. A distance between two adjacent pillars is D and the longitudinal aisle has a width W. The D and the W are specifically configured such that the aerosol has a predetermined MMAD.

    Abstract: An aerosol generator includes a container and an atomizing module arranged in the container. The container has a liquid chamber and an aerosol chamber respectively arranged at two opposite sides of the atomizing module. The atomizing module includes an annular vibration plate, a microporous member, and a circuit board. The vibration plate has a first hole, and the microporous member is disposed on the vibration plate and covers the first hole. The circuit board is electrically coupled to an electrical contact of the vibration plate. The circuit board is arranged at one side of at least part of the vibration plate, and the circuit board and the at least part of the vibration plate have a gap there-between. A projected region defined by orthogonally projecting the circuit board onto a plane overlapping with the electrical contact partially covers the least part of the vibration plate.

    Abstract: An aerosol generating device includes an aerosol generator and a plug. The aerosol generator includes a container and an atomizing module arranged in the container. The container has a liquid chamber, an aerosol chamber, and an insertion slot defining an insertion direction. The liquid chamber and the aerosol chamber are respectively arranged at two opposite sides of the atomizing module, and are in spatial communication with each other through the atomizing module. The atomizing module includes two electrode regions having the same polarity and being electrically connected to each other. The plug is detachably inserted into the insertion slot of the container along the insertion direction, and a conductive terminal of the plug contacts the two electrode regions.

    Abstract: An atomization device includes a liquid storing member that stores a liquid therein, a carrier detachably assembled to the liquid storing member, an opener disposed on at least one of the liquid storing member and the carrier, and an atomizing module that is assembled to at least one of the liquid storing member and the carrier. The opener is configured to form an opening on the liquid storing member. The atomization device has a buffering chamber arranged between the atomizing module and the opening of the liquid storing member, and a volume of the buffering chamber is less than a volume of the liquid. The liquid storing member can be pressed to change an inner pressure thereof, such that a part of the liquid is driven to flow from the opening into the buffering chamber for an atomizing process of the atomizing module. The buffering chamber can receive the liquid stored in the liquid storing member over multiple times, such that the atomization device can atomize the liquid over multiple times through the buffering chamber.

    Abstract: An aerosol generating apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a liquid container, an adaptor and a driving element. The liquid container includes a perforated membrane through which a liquid can permeate. The liquid container further includes a first mating element. The adaptor includes a second mating element. The driving element includes a piezoelectric element coupled to a substrate. The driving element is accommodated by the adaptor and the substrate includes an aperture and a projection. The first and second mating elements are adapted to detachably and slidably mate with each other such that the aperture of the substrate aligns proximately to the center of the perforated membrane. The first and second mating elements are further adapted for relative movement along a sliding axis. The projection is adapted to press against the perforated membrane.

    Abstract: An aerosol generating apparatus includes a vial, a cap assembly and a receptacle. The vial stores liquid medicament and includes a puncturable seal held in position by a retaining ring. The cap assembly includes an actuator with an interior bore extending therethrough, a perforated membrane coupled to the actuator, a fastener and a first mating element. The fastener is adapted to detachably secure the cap assembly to the vial such that the perforated membrane aligns with the puncturable seal. The receptacle receives the cap assembly with the vial. The receptacle includes a driving element and a second mating element capable of mating with the first mating element. The driving element aligns and communicates with the perforated membrane when the receptacle engages the cap assembly. The actuator pierces the puncturable seal to displace the liquid medicament through the interior bore to the perforated membrane and the driving element to generate aerosol.
