That is, a precision poisoning system of the present invention includes: a GPS reference station generating navigation correction information for a wireless access point by receiving a first satellites' signal from a GPS satellite with respect to the reference station and transmitting the generated navigation correction information to the wireless access point; a wireless access point receiving the navigation correction information from the GPS reference station and transmitting the received information to a user terminal; and a user terminal receiving a second satellites' signal from the GPS satellite with respect to the user terminal and recognizing the navigation correction information from the wireless access point to generate precise user position information on the basis of the second satellite signal and the navigation correction information.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for recognizing a specific area of an image in a portable terminal. More particularly, an apparatus and method are for determining feature points with very high similarities as one group when the portable terminal recognizes a building included in an image or a picture, and for estimating a matching relation of the group to improve building recognition performance. The apparatus includes an image analyzer configured to, upon extracting feature points used for building recognition, classify feature points with similarities among the extracted feature points into a group, and recognize a building after estimating a matching relation by regarding the classified group as a feature point.
Abstract:
Provided are a system and method for estimating position of lost mobile terminal and a mobile terminal. The system for estimating position of lost mobile terminal includes a plurality of base stations and a computing apparatus. Each of the base stations transmits an activation signal, receives a terminal ID from the mobile terminal in response to the activation signal, and transmits a reception time of the terminal ID and the terminal ID. The computing apparatus estimates a position of the mobile terminal corresponding to the terminal ID on the basis of the reception time and a position of each of the base stations.
Abstract:
An image sensor includes circuitry, a metal interconnection, a first substrate, a metal ion-implanted insulating layer, and a photodiode. The circuitry is formed on and/or over the first substrate, and the metal ion-implanted insulating layer is formed on and/or over the metal interconnection. The photodiode is formed in a crystalline semiconductor layer over the metal ion-implanted insulating layer.

An apparatus for transmitting a pseudollite signal so that a navigation signal is transmitted includes: at least four pseudollite configured to generate and output pseudollite codes for navigation; antennas configured to transmit signals outputted by the pseudollite corresponding to the antennas, respectively; and a single synchronization clock unit configured to provide each of the pseudollites with a synchronization clock.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for controlling an attitude of a satellite using target track approximation. The method includes the steps of: a) receiving coordinate information of at least one of target areas; b) generating a target track by approximating a track of a satellite based on the received coordinate information; and c) detecting a location of the satellite on a current track, calculating an attitude angle of the satellite for the target track using the location of the satellite and the location of the target area, and applying the calculated attitude angle of the satellite to control the attitude of the satellite.
Abstract:
Provided are an apparatus and method for measuring an antenna gain. The apparatus includes an antenna gain-to-noise-temperature (G/T) ratio calculator for calculating a G/T ratio using a reception noise power measured while an antenna is tracking the sun, a noise temperature measurer for measuring a noise temperature when a signal is transmitted or received through the antenna, and an antenna gain calculator for calculating an antenna gain using the calculated G/T ratio and the measured noise temperature. Thus, it is possible to easily measure the antenna gain of a ground station without a reference antenna or a satellite-mounted device capable of functioning as a reference antenna.
Abstract:

The system includes: a monitoring unit for photographing an image of a vehicle parking space and transmitting the image to a parking space checking unit; the parking space checking unit for checking a vacant parking space based on the transmitted vehicle parking space image and transmitting vacant parking space acquisition information to a location information computing unit; and the location information computing unit for creating and transmitting location information of the vacant parking space, which is vehicle parking information, to a navigation satellite based on own location information acquired based on navigation information transmitted from an external navigation satellite and the transmitted vacant parking space acquisition information.
Abstract:
A method of perceptual 3-dimensional (3D) shape description and a method and apparatus for searching a perceptual 3D graphics model database established using the description method are provided. The description method includes: generating nodes that respectively correspond to parts of a part-based representation of a 3D shape model, the nodes including unary attributes of the parts; generating edges that include relational attributes between the nodes; and generating an attributed relational graph of the 3D shape model that is comprised of the nodes and the edges. The search method includes: receiving a predetermined 3D graphics model; transforming the received 3D graphics model into a perceptual 3D shape descriptor; and comparing the perceptual 3D shape descriptor with each of the perceptual 3D graphics models stored in the database to retrieve the 3D graphic models that are similar to the perceptual 3D shape descriptor. The searching apparatus includes: a query input unit that receives a query that is a 3D graphics model; a model/shape descriptor transforming unit that transforms the 3D graphic model received as the query into a perceptual 3D shape descriptor; a matching unit that compares the perceptual 3D shape descriptor with each of the perceptual 3D graphics models stored in the database to retrieve the models that are similar to the perceptual 3D shape descriptor; and a model output unit that outputs the retrieved model. A query by sketch or a query by editing is available, and the models that are similar to a query can be more accurately retrieved due to a double earth mover's distance method used to match query and model graphs.
