Abstract:
A single vector or multiple separate vectors that contain two or more non-competing replicons for transient expression of the heavy and light chains of Rituximab in Nicotiana benthamiana leaves is described. The correct assembly of these subunit proteins into functional oligomeric structures to optimize the expression is also described. This system advances plant transient expression technology by eliminating the need for non-competing viruses, and thus, enhances the realistic commercial application of the multi-replicon single vector system for producing Rituximab in plant cells.
Abstract:
The invention relates to compositions and methods for making and using recombinant bacteria that are capable of regulated attenuation and/or regulated expression of one or more antigens of interest.
Abstract:
A system and method for securing access to sensitive content on the web is disclosed. The approach automates compartmentalization practices for accessing different kinds of content with different browser instances. The automation is transparent to the user and does not require any modification of how non-sensitive content is accessed. For sensitive content, a Fresh Browser Instance (FBI) is automatically created to access the content. In addition, the automatic FBI system may provide support for novice users with predefined sensitive content sites as well as for more experienced users who can define conflict of interest (COI) classes which allows content from sites in the same user-defined class to coexist in a browser instance.

Abstract:
The present invention encompasses a phototrophic microorganism with altered and controlled adhesive properties. One aspect of the present invention encompasses a genetically modified phototrophic microorganism capable of controlled adhesion. The microorganism comprises a recombinant nucleic acid construct, wherein the nucleic acid construct comprises an inducible promoter operably-linked to a nucleic acid encoding an adhesion protein.
