Abstract:
In various exemplary embodiments, a targeting device providing a visible indication of an invisible beam is disclosed. The invisible beam, such as an x-ray beam, is emitted by a radiation source on a medical imaging system. The targeting device includes, for example, an illumination source to produce a visible beam and operate at one or more wavelengths. The illumination source, which is opaque to the x-ray beam and would ordinarily cause shadows on the imaging system, is arranged to be mounted outside of a field-of-view of the invisible beam. A beam reflector is mounted next to the illumination source. The beam reflector is fabricated from a material invisible to x-rays and is arranged to be mounted within the field-of-view of the invisible beam. The beam reflector redirects the visible beam produced by the illumination source such that the visible beam is parallel to the field-of-view of the invisible beam.
Abstract:
A peel-off coupon redemption card includes a plurality of coupons releasably adhered to a base with a release liner. The release liner is composed of a material, such as a dry release adhesive or evaporative adhesive, such that when a coupon is removed from the base substantially no effective adhesive remains on the removed coupon. Each coupon preferably includes promotion indicia and an electronic redemption indicia. The electronic redemption indicia is preferably printed on a face of the coupon facing the base so that each coupon can be electronically redeemed while having sufficient space for the promotion indicia on the opposite face of the coupon.
Abstract:
The invention consists of an implement hitch designed for use with existing standard farm tractor hitches for plowing wherein the present hitch is used to convert one form of plowing operation to another by converting conventional manual operation to a substantially automatic operation saving considerable labor and time.
Abstract:
A kick out flashing includes a base for placement adjacent a roof, a sidewall for placement adjacent a wall by the roof, a first kick out wall angled away from the sidewall, an intermediate wall joined with the first kick out wall, distal from and optionally parallel to the sidewall, and a second kick out wall angled away from the intermediate wall, the second kick out wall distal from the sidewall and downstream from the first kick out wall. The sidewall, intermediate wall and a bottom wall can form a channel that receives a J channel or other wall covering. The first kick out wall can prevent water from traveling directly under the bottom wall and/or the channel, diverting it away from the sidewall. The second kick out wall can further divert water away from the channel and/or sidewall.
Abstract:
A barbeque grill scraper and related methods of use that utilize a scraping end formed of a heat-responsive material to remove char and other debris from the grilling surface. The grill scraper includes a conformable scraping edge formed of the heat-responsive material. As the conformable scraping edge is drawn back and forth along the heated grilling surface, a combination of pressure applied by a user as well as the heat of the grill surface results in the formation of individual grooves along the conformable scraping edge, wherein each groove is formed to match an upper profile of the grilling surface. Over time, the grooves fully conform to the upper profile of the grilling surface such that an entire cooking surface can be scraped clean of char and debris.
Abstract:
A method of improving the use of a condom for delivery of a stimulant or lubricant treatment product to a female. The method comprises the steps of forming a condom on a mold, the condom having a closed distal end and an open proximal end; and applying the treatment product on an arcuate band portion of the proximal end of said condom subsequent to the forming of the condom on the mold.
