摘要: An apparatus, method, and system for height-measurement are provided. The apparatus, and method includes initiating, and calibrating a height-measuring-device to capture and store a one-time calibration-mode distance. Then, in operation-mode, a foot-platform connected to a retractable-tape is pulled atop an object/user. Electronic signals from a laser-device are generated as a means to measure both calibration-mode and operation-mode distances. These distances are then resolved and stored as a height-measurement for a user/object, and the resulting height-measurement is displayed on a screen.The height-measurement data from each object/user are compared to one another. The height-measuring-device also includes a predictive algorithm that determines the future height of users.

摘要: A flexible electronic device includes a flexible electronic circuit and a flexible microfluidic sensor homogeneously integrated into the flexible circuit. The flexible sensor includes a flexible microfluidic structure, a first material, a second material, and an electrode arrangement. At least one of the first and second materials is a fluid. The structure defines at least one microfluidic chamber. The first and second materials are disposed in the chamber. The second material has a physical property and an electrical property different from the first material. The electrode arrangement includes at least one pair of electrodes spaced apart from each other with at least a portion of the at least one chamber located functionally directly therebetween such that at least one electronic property measured across the pair is based on a relationship between the second material and the electrode pair. The relationship is based on a physical condition of the microfluidic structure.

In one example embodiment, the globe clamp includes a clamp body, which includes a top portion, a bottom portion, and an exterior contour. The top portion forms a first internal opening defined by a first inner surface. The bottom portion forms a second internal opening defined by a second inner surface. The exterior contour surrounds the top portion and the bottom portion. The exterior contour comprises at least one recess having a horizontal, flat surface, the recess configured to retain a level.

摘要: A board working device includes an adjustment mechanism including a plurality of main legs provided on a bottom portion of a base, the main legs being capable of adjusting a position of the base in vertical directions, and bolt heads for operating the main legs, a mounting head which rotates the bolt heads and adjusts the position of the base in the vertical directions, and a moving device which moves a mounting head to an arbitrary position on the base, in which the bolt heads are arranged within a movement range of the mounting head according to the moving device. Accordingly, it is possible to automatically perform leveling of the base using the mounting head, and it is possible to appropriately and swiftly perform the leveling of the base regardless of proficiency of an individual worker.

A support plate is provided that supports the marking device. The support plate attaches to the tool using an attachment mechanism. The attachment mechanism can be adhesive, mechanical and/or magnetic. The marking device obscures the point where it marks during its operation. A position indicator is provided to provide the user with a visual indication of where the marking device will mark. The visual indication can be a physical indicator and/or a beam of light.

The tubular member is calibrated to determine 0 and 90 degree points which are marked on the housing and a plurality of indicia along said housing adjacent to said slot, indicating degrees between 0° to 90°.

摘要: A frame assembly is provided for easily hanging a frame at a desired orientation. The base frame has a central mount that is fastened to a wall, to permit the base frame to be rotated to the desired orientation. Off-center mounts are thereafter fastened to the wall to maintain the desired orientation. The base frame is configured to fit within an outer frame, which holds an artistic or functional insert. Once the outer frame is mounted over the base frame, the base frame is obscured and the outer frame is flush with the wall surface. Further, multiple base frames can be hung in alignment by simply marking the desired center point for each base frame. The outer frame is removably secured to the base frame by a catch, to permit the easy exchange of the artistic insert or outer frame.
