摘要: A ladder rack for supporting a ladder in a stowage position and for moving the ladder between the stowage position and a loading/unloading position at which the ladder can be loaded onto the rack or unloaded from the rack. The ladder rack includes a frame assembly which is mounted on a support structure such as a vehicle roof and a bed platform having opposite ends that are coupled to the frame assembly for sliding and hinged movement with respect to the frame assembly. At least one of the ends of the bed platform is configured to be extendible when pivoted downward into a loading or unloading position.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for coding and/or decoding bitplanes of individual codeblocks are described. Aspects relate to speeding up bitplane decoding when one or more decoders are used as part of the decoding process and one or more consistent value bitplanes were coded at the start of a codeblock. A number F, e.g., of consistent value, e.g., zero value, bitplanes are identified as corresponding to the beginning of an encoded codeblock being processed. Based on the determination a predetermined output, e.g., zero values corresponding to F bitplanes, is output. Thus, the output corresponding to the F consistent value bitplanes can be produced without having to perform a full arithmetic decoding process to generate the decoded data corresponding to the F consistent value bitplanes. Remaining bitplanes of a codeblock including data are subjected to decoding using one or more decoder modules which maybe part of a JPEG 2000 compliant decoder.

摘要: An articulated unit for a motor vehicle with a housing (1) and a link pin (2) supported in the housing (1), and a bearing shell (4) disposed between the housing (1) and a bearing section (3) of the link pin (2), with the bearing shell (4) supported with its outer surface (5) at least in sections in the housing (1) and having on its inner surface (6) facing the bearing section (3) of the link pin (2) recesses (7) for a lubricant. The bearing shell (4) has at least one opening (8) which extends through the bearing shell (4) from the inner surface (6) to the outer surface (5) and forms a flow channel. A method for lubricating an articulated unit is presented, wherein the bearing shell (4) having elastic compliance produces during the relative movement of the link pin (2) in the housing (1) a pumping action, which enables distribution of the lubricant via the lubricant channel system.

摘要: Photometric registration from an arbitrary geometry for augmented reality is performed using video frames of an environment captured by a camera. A surface reconstruction of the environment is generated. A pose is determined for the camera with respect to the environment, e.g., using model based tracking using the surface reconstruction. Illumination data for the environment is determined from a video frame. Estimated lighting conditions for the environment are generated based on the surface reconstruction and the illumination data. For example, the surface reconstruction may be used to compute the possible radiance transfer, which may be compressed, e.g., using spherical harmonic basis functions, and used in the lighting conditions estimation. A virtual object may then be rendered based on the lighting conditions. Differential rendering may be used with lighting solutions from the surface reconstruction of the environment and a second surface reconstruction of the environment combined with the virtual object.

摘要: A lead-zirconate-titanate ceramic has texturing, with textured nuclei containing barium-titanate crystallites, wherein the barium-titanate crystallites have a substantially equal crystal characteristic, including form anisotropy, and an orientation in the lead-zirconate-titanate ceramic. A method for the production of a PZT ceramic has the following steps: a) providing the barium-titanate crystallite, b) mixing the barium-titanate crystallite and a starting material of the lead-zirconate-titanate into a ceramic green body such that the barium-titanate crystallites in the green body have an orientation, and c) heat-treating the green body. The heat treatment has calcination and sintering of the piezo-ceramic composition. The barium-titanate crystallites are used in a “template grain growth process” as crystallization nuclei. The piezo-ceramic component is, for example, an ultrasonic transducer or a piezo-ceramic bender actuator. In particular, the piezo-ceramic component is a multilayer piezo actuator, which is used to actuate a fuel valve of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle.

摘要: A ball and socket joint for a motor vehicle, especially for a rocker pendulum of a motor vehicle, has a housing (1), which is open on at least one side, and into the interior space of which a bearing shell is inserted, which in turn accommodates a joint ball of a ball pivot in a slidingly movable manner. According to a first variant, the interior space has elevations along its inner jacket surface, which said elevations mesh with the bearing shell in a positive-locking manner. The elevations are designed as triangular webs (13). According to a second variant, the interior space has depressions along its inner jacket surface, which said depressions mesh with the bearing shell in a positive-locking manner, said depressions being designed as undercuts.

摘要: Modular storage units that can be assembled without additional fasteners or tools and then coupled together with or without optional shelves into an overall storage system using a common twist-lock fastener. The modular storage units are assembled from top, bottom and side panels. The top and bottom panels for each modular storage unit are structurally identical as are the side panels. Modular storage units having different widths have commonly sized and structurally identical side panels. Storage systems that are built up from the modular storage units can be easily assembled in work vehicles and other close quarters or tight spaces. The modular storage units can include plurality of trays or other articles for storing various parts, articles, etc.

摘要: A flow through article storage device that includes a housing into which a plurality of stacks of articles can be positioned. The housing has a bottom and a front and rear end. A plurality of elongate abutment elements are coupled to the housing and configured for independent movement between a first position in which the elongate abutment elements extend at least partially into the interior of the housing and a second position in which the elongate abutment members do not extend into the interior of the housing. At least one track of rollers is provided on the bottom or an inclined support surface of the housing. Stacks of articles that are loaded into the rear end of the housing are subsequently removed from the front end. The elongate abutment elements can be selectively moved between the first and second positions to control movement of the stacks of articles along the inclined bottom.

摘要: A process is provided for manufacturing a ball and socket joint that has a ball pivot (2) that is composed of a pivot pin (3) with an essentially spherical ball head (4) arranged or made integrally in one piece on one side. A bearing shell (5) is provided as well as a preformed plastic film as a thin-walled ball socket (7) with a joint surface (8) enclosing the ball head at least partially. A lubricant (9) is introduced between the surface of the ball head (4) and the joint surface (8) of the thin-walled ball socket (7). According to the process, the thin-walled ball socket (7) is filled first with the lubricant (9). The ball head (4) of the ball pivot (2) is then introduced into the thin-walled ball socket (7) filled with lubricant (9), and the ball head (4) provided with the thin-walled ball socket (7) is subsequently introduced into the housing (10). Finally, the free space between the thin-walled ball socket (7) and the housing (10) is filled up with a material to form a bearing shell (5). The ball and socket joint (1) is formed with a preformed plastic film as a thin-walled ball socket (7).
