    Abstract: A reinforcing structure of an electrical receptacle connector includes an insulation housing, a terminal group, and a reinforcing sheet. The insulation housing includes a substrate and a tongue portion extending to one side of the substrate. The tongue portion includes a top surface, a bottom surface, and a front side surface between the top surface and the bottom surface. The terminal group is provided on the bottom surface, and includes a power supply terminal and a grounding terminal. A contact wall is formed between the power supply terminal and the front side surface, and the reinforcing sheet is provided on the top surface. The reinforcing sheet includes a front baffle and a recessed portion, the front baffle is fixed on the front side surface, and the recessed portion inwardly curves to be formed on the front baffle and corresponds to the contact wall.

    Abstract: A connector receptacle includes an insulating housing, a plurality of contacts, a protective plate, and a metallic shell. The insulating housing includes a base portion and a tongue portion extending from the base portion. The tongue portion defines a plurality of receiving slots through the base portion. The contacts are inserted into the receiving slots, and a power contact exists among the contacts. The protective plate includes a planner main portion and two connecting arm portions. The planar main portion is disposed on the tongue portion, and includes a planar section, a front section, a side section, and a connecting section. One lateral side of the planar section is a cutting notch exposing parts of the tongue portion which corresponds to the power contact. The cutting notch prevents the power contact and the protective plate from contacting while connecting with a plug, so as to secure the safety.

    Abstract: A waterproof electronic receptacle connector includes a plastic-core housing, an insulation housing, terminals, a waterproof ring gasket and a sealing material. The plastic-core housing includes a through hole. The insulation housing is configured in the through hole and includes a base and a tongue plate. The base includes an inner side plane facing toward the through hole and an outer side plane facing toward an outside of the through hole. The tongue plate is extended from the inner side plane. The terminals are passing through the base. Each terminal includes a contacting end extended from the tongue plate and a welding end connected to the contacting end and extruded from the outer side plane. The waterproof ring gasket is abutted between the base and an inner wall of the through hole. The sealing material is formed on the outer side plane to fill gaps between the terminal and the base.

    Abstract: This invention is related to a waterproof electrical connector which comprises an insulation body, a metal shell, a plurality of terminals, a waterproof rubber, and a waterproof rubber ring. The insulation body includes a rubber core portion and a tongue plate portion, the tongue plate portion extending outward from the rubber core portion. The metal shell surrounds the insulation body and forms a receiving cavity, wherein the metal shell is a seamless structure. These terminals are fixed in the rubber core portion, one end of the terminals is located in the tongue plate portion, and the other end of the terminals pierces through the side of the rubber core portion away from the tongue plate portion. The waterproof rubber is located at the side of the rubber core portion away from the tongue plate portion, and stuck to the metal shell, the rubber core portion, and these terminals. And the waterproof rubber ring surrounds the front end of the metal shell. Compared to the prior art, this invention of the waterproof electrical connector not only has the smaller whole volume, but also has the higher strength, is not easy to be deformed, and is more durable.

    Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector is enclosed by an outer shell. The outer shell includes a rear covering plate, side plates, and top plates. Two turned portions are at two sides of the rear covering plate. The side plates outwardly extend from the turned portions, respectively. Each of the top plates is bent from a top portion of the corresponding side plate and extends away from the corresponding side plate. The rear covering plate and the side plates are integrally formed as a one-piece member. Hence, the steps of manufacturing process for the connector can be reduced, the production of defective products can be reduced, and the structural strength of the connector can be improved. Moreover, numbers of holes or cracks between the rear covering plate and each of the side plates can be reduced, thereby reducing the EMI issue.
