摘要: Apparatus and methods for wire-tying one or more objects. A wire accumulating and feeding mechanism feeds the wire axially through the hollow axle of an accumulator drum and then out to a drive wheel. The wire is wrapped around the periphery of the drum to accumulate the wire during tensioning. A wire gripping mechanism is a simple, economical device including a gripper block having a wire receptacle formed therein, an opposing wall positioned proximate the wire receptacle, and in one embodiment a tapered gap formed in the gripper block proximate the wire receptacle and opposite from the opposing wall, and a gripper disc mounts in a gripper release lever constrained to move within the tapered gap and frictionally engageable with the length of wire disposed within the wire receptacle, the gripper disc being driven into the tapered gap by frictional engagement with the length of wire and pinching the length of wire against the opposing wall when the drive motor is operated in the tension direction. In an alternative embodiment the gripper release lever pinches the wire against the gripping wall. In another embodiment, an apparatus includes a track assembly including multiple modular segments forming a corner of the track. In yet another aspect, a twisting assembly includes a twist motor coupled to a rotatable twist axle having a plurality of cams attached thereto, the primary functions of the twisting assembly being cam-actuated.

摘要: An apparatus, method, and article to dynamically adjust a data signal using a regenerated clock signal in an emulator to increase communication speed between the emulator and the evaluation board is disclosed. In one embodiment, this is achieved by applying a reference clock signal at a predetermined frequency to a digital circuit. A delayed return data signal is then sampled from the digital circuit. The sampled delayed return data signal is then compared to an expected return data signal. The delayed return data signal is then adjusted as a function of the comparison to increase the communication speed between the emulator and the evaluation board.

摘要: A self-latching device is disclosed which is arranged to latch, in a predetermined position, two members which are otherwise movable relative to each other such as a hinged gate. The device comprises a latch arm having a latch element and a manual actuator mounted on one of the members and which is movable between a latched and a retracted position, by upward manual displacement of the actuator, and a retaining element incorporating a permanent magnet mounted on the other member. The latch arm is spring biased into the retracted position but, when in the predetermined position, is caused to move by the magnetic field generated by the magnetic into the latched position wherein any substantial relative movement of the two members is prevented by the latch arm engaging the retaining element. A lost motion connection is provided between the actuator and the latch element either by being in the form of a flexible line or through a multiple element linkage such that upon latching, the actuator falls to a rest position without applying any substantial load on the latch element.
