    摘要: A disc brake includes brake pads (7), which are slidably received on either side of a brake disc within guide portions (6) of the disc brake, and including a spring arrangement (10) for spring cushioning the brake pads (7). Disc brakes of this type are frequently used in motor vehicles. To improve the spring cushioning of the brake pads, the spring arrangement (10) is equipped with at least one radial spring element (11) for radially clamping the brake pads (7) with respect to the guide portions (6), at least one axial spring element (22) for axially clamping the brake pads (7) in relation to each other, and at least one tangential spring element (18) for tangentially clamping the brake pads (7) in relation to the guide portions (6). The three spring elements (11, 18, 22) act in different spatial dimensions and can be embodied as separate components which are independent of each other.

    摘要: A filter device for brewing beverages from coffee or tea grounds has a support frame comprising a first annular member and at least two radially outwardly projecting supports for placing the filter device onto a rim of a beverage container. The first annular member has a diameter smaller than the diameter of the beverage container. A disposable filter insert enclosing an amount of coffee grounds or tea leaves for brewing a beverage in the beverage container is provided. The filter insert has a seamless conical porous pocket for receiving the coffee grounds or tea leaves. The conical pocket has a cone base facing upwardly and a cone top facing downwardly. The filter insert also has a porous cover covering an opening at cone base. The pocket has finer pores than the cover. The cover sags downwardly and forms a depression. The pocket is folded from a flat sheet, having an oval or circular contour, by folding in opposite folding directions along at least two folding lines extending diametrically through the flat sheet and positioned at an angle of up to 45.degree. to one another. The folding lines are secured against unfolding without using an adhesive by connecting at least the edges of the pocket and the cover to one another. The filter insert is annularly supported at the cone base by the annular member of the support frame such that the pocket is freely suspended from the support frame.

    摘要: A vacuum brake power booster for automotive vehicles includes a booster housing whose interior is subdivided into a vacuum chamber and a working chamber by a moveable wall. A control housing carries the moveable wall and accommodates a control valve which controls a pressure differential acting upon the moveable wall. The control valve has at least two sealing seats cooperating with an elastic valve member and is operable by an actuating rod. One of the sealing seats is operable, irrespective of the actuating rod, by an electromagnet whose armature is in force-transmitting interaction with one of the sealing seats. An electrical switching apparatus is also included, the control signals of which influence the current supply of the electromagnet thereby enabling its deactivation. The switching apparatus are operable by a relative movement between a valve piston and the control housing.

    摘要: A vacuum brake power booster and a process is disclosed in which a precise adjustment of the power boost startup characteristic is achieved. The adjustment is carried out as a final step in the manufacture of the booster adjusting the distance between the valve piston and an elastic reaction distance. During adjustment, the vacuum brake power booster has a vacuum applied. A pre-established input force is exerted on the piston rod while simultaneously measuring the output force exerted by the push rod, and the axial length of the valve piston is modified until the measured output force is within a pre-established range. The adjustment is carried out by modifying the length of a two piece valve piston or by temporarily extending a rod within the valve piston until a correct output force is reached and thereafter removing the rod and inserting a transmission pin of a length determined by the extent of travel of the rod at the point at which the desired output force was attained.
