摘要: A light emission display includes data lines, scan lines, and pixel circuits. A pixel circuit of the pixel circuits includes: a light emission element; a first transistor including a control electrode and first and second electrodes, the first transistor outputting a current corresponding to a voltage between the first electrode and the control electrode; a first switch coupled between the control electrode of the first transistor and the light emission element and for receiving a first control signal; a first capacitor coupled to the first transistor; a second capacitor coupled between a first power source and the first capacitor; a second switch for coupling the first capacitor and a second power source in response to a second control signal; and a third switch for applying a data voltage to the first capacitor in response to a select signal provided by one of the scan lines.

摘要: A light emitting display includes: a pixel portion including a plurality of pixels; a scan driver adapted to supply a scan signal to scan lines connected to the pixels; a DC/DC converter adapted to supply a first voltage and a second voltage to the plurality of pixels; and a synchronizer adapted to maintain a ripple voltage of the first voltage at a predetermined level when the scan signals are converted into a turn off voltage. With this configuration, since the ripple voltage of the first voltage is always kept constant when the scan signal is turned off, a uniform brightness in a horizontal line and a frame can be displayed.

摘要: A scan driver includes: a plurality of scan driving blocks including an output terminal outputting a scan signal to a scan line; a first transistor transmitting a voltage of a power source to the output terminal; a second transistor transmitting a clock signal to the output terminal; and a third transistor including a gate electrode connected to a node formed with a gate-on voltage turning on the second transistor, one terminal connected to the power source, and the other terminal connected to the gate electrode of the first transistor. The scan driver may reduce the influence of a leakage current even though application of the scan signal is increased, and a scan signal of a uniform voltage level may be output.

摘要: An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display and a driving method thereof include an OLED, a driving transistor supplying a driving current to the OLED, a data line transmitting a data signal to the driving transistor, a first switch including a first electrode connected to one electrode of the OLED and a second electrode connected to the data line, and a second switch including a first electrode connected to the data line and a second electrode connected to the gate electrode of the driving transistor. The first switch is turned on such that a predetermined first current is transmitted to the OLED, the voltage of one electrode of the OLED is received through the data line, the deterioration degree of the OLED is detected according to the transmitted voltage, and the data signal transmitted to the data line is compensated according to the detected deterioration.

The pixel circuit is coupled to a data line and a scan line. The pixel circuit includes a transistor including first, second, and third electrodes, wherein the third electrode outputs a current corresponding to a voltage between the first and second electrodes. A light emitting element coupled to the third electrode emits light corresponding to the current outputted by the third electrode. A first switch transmits a data voltage in response to a select signal from the scan line. A voltage compensator receives the data voltage transmitted by the first switch and a second power supply voltage and applies a compensated data voltage based on the data voltage, a first power supply voltage and the second power supply voltage to the first electrode of the transistor.

摘要: A light emitting display includes pixel circuits capable of compensating for the threshold voltages of their driving transistors. Each pixel circuit includes a driving transistor, a capacitor having one end coupled to a gate electrode of the driving transistor, a first switch coupled between the gate electrode of the driving transistor and a first main electrode, which is turned on in response to a first level of a first control signal for diode-coupling the driving transistor, and a second switch turned on in response to a second level of a second control signal to transmit current flowing out of the first main electrode of the driving transistor to a light emitting element. The second switch is turned on when the first switch is turned on for a first period longer than 0.05 μs and shorter than 2.5 μs. The second switch is turned on when the first switch is turned off.
