The coaxial male connector includes: an inner contact; a monolithic outer body having a plurality of spring fingers and a shoulder that is located radially outward of the spring fingers; a dielectric spacer disposed between the inner contact and the outer body such that the outer body is coaxial with the inner contact; and a coupling nut that at least partially overlies the outer body. The coaxial connector includes: an inner contact having a plurality of spring fingers mated with the spring fingers of the inner contact of the male connector; an outer body having an inner surface and a contact surface at one end, the contact surface contacting the shoulder of the outer body of the male connector; and a dielectric spacer disposed between the inner contact and the outer body such that the outer body is coaxial with the inner contact, the spacer being configured so that a gap is present between an outer surface of the spacer and the inner surface of the outer body. The spring fingers of the outer body of the male connector contact the inner surface of the outer body and apply radial pressure thereto.
Abstract:
The corrugated cable co-axial connector includes a connection body (1), having an internal thread (12) in a connector through hole (11); a clamping nut (2), having a central through hole (21), having a cable end and a clamping end in an axial direction of the central through hole (21) which are opposite to each other, and having an external thread (22) at the clamping end; an annular elastic clip (3) which is axially slidingly fitted into the central through hole (21) of the clamping nut (2); and a resilient ring (4) sleeved around the annular elastic clip (3) and located between the clamping end of the clamping nut (2) and the annular elastic clip (3). When a corrugated cable (10) having a corrugated outer conductor (102) is received in the central through hole (21) of the clamping nut (2), the connector body (1) applies at least a radial inward force to the annular elastic clip (3) by the engagement of the external thread (22) and the internal thread (12), to lock the corrugated cable (10) in the annular elastic clip (3). The connector is simple to manufacture and is convenient to use. At the same time, it is able to ensure the reliable cable connection and is suitable for repeated use.
Abstract:
A coaxial cable-connector assembly includes a coaxial cable and a coaxial connector. The coaxial cable includes a central conductor, an outer conductor, a dielectric layer interposed between the central conductor and the outer conductor, and a jacket overlying the outer conductor. The coaxial connector includes: a central conductor extension configured to mate with a mating connector at one end and mated with the central conductor of the coaxial cable at a second opposite end; an outer conductor extension configured to mate with the mating connector at one end attached via a solder joint to the outer conductor of the coaxial cable at a second opposite end; and a dielectric spacer positioned between and separating the central conductor extension and the outer conductor extension, the dielectric spacer further positioned adjacent the solder joint to inhibit solder flow away from the solder joint.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a push-pull coaxial connector comprising: an external conductor, where the external conductor is configured to internally receive the matching external conductor of a mating connector, with concave parts or through holes on the inner surface of the side wall of the external conductor that house retainers and corresponding matching concave parts on the outer surface of the side wall of the mating external conductor, of which, there are one or more protrusions on the outer surface of the side wall of the external conductor; a sleeve surrounding the external conductor, where the sleeve is able to slide between the front position and rear position along the external conductor and is able to rotate around the circumference of the external conductor, of which, there are one or more corresponding notches to receive one or more protrusions on the rear surface of the sleeve; wherein, when the sleeve is at the front position, one or more protrusions are staggered away from one or more notches and abutted on the rear surface of the sleeve to prevent the sleeve from moving backward, and at this point, part of the retainer is in the concave part or through hole of the external conductor and part of it is in the mating concave part of the mating external conductor, thus maintaining the connection between the coaxial connector and mating connector; wherein, when the sleeve is at the rear position, one or more protrusions are received in one or more corresponding notches, and at this point, the retainer fully leaves the matching concave part of the mating external conductor, thus separating the coaxial connector and the mating connector. The push-pull coaxial connector uses a simple concave-convex structure, which locks the front and rear positions of the push-pull structure of the coaxial connector and it has a simple structure and is low-cost.
