The power supply provides power to a real-time clock generator when system power is not available and comprises first and second regulators, an energy storage device, and a switch. The first regulator receives a system power and generates a first regulated voltage when the system power is available. The energy storage device is coupled to a node. The second regulator comprises an input coupled to the node and provides a second regulated voltage to a real-time clock generator. The switch is coupled between the first regulator and the node. The switch is turned on when the system power is available and turned off when the system power is not available.

    摘要: A fan speed control circuit is provided. The circuit includes a control chip. The control chip stores a relationship table recording a number of duty cycle intervals and a number of rotational speeds of a fan. Each duty cycle interval corresponds to one rotational speed of the fan. The control chip obtains a preset number of PWM signals outputted by a processing chip; determines the average value according to the duty cycle of the obtained preset number of PWM signals; determines which duty cycle interval the average value is in, according to the relationship table; determines the rotational speed of the fan corresponding to the determined duty cycle interval according to the relationship table; and controls the fan to rotate according to the determined rotational speed.

    摘要: A voltage converter improves the efficiency thereof by connecting a boost converter and an LDO regulator with a buck converter in parallel. The boost converter boosts up a supply voltage to generate a first output voltage at a first output, and the buck converter bucks down the supply voltage to generate a second output voltage at a second output. When the second output voltage is lower than a threshold, the LDO regulator converts the first output voltage to a third voltage at said second output.
