    摘要: An apparatus and method for scheduling users in a mobile communication system are provided, in which a Base Station (BS) calculates scheduling utility values of each Mobile Station (MS) for a plurality of cases of interference from neighbor BSs, forms a candidate MS list by selecting a predetermined number of MSs in a descending order of utility value for each of the cases of interference from the neighbor BSs, transmits the candidate MS list to the neighbor BSs, receives candidate MS lists from the neighbor BSs, calculates the channel transmission rates of candidate MSs included in the candidate MS lists, and selects an MS to be serviced according to the channel transmission rates.

The method includes scanning neighbor base stations adjacent to the serving base station, collecting information of the scanned neighbor base stations, comparing a size of the information of the scanned neighbor base stations with a size of a frame for carrying the information of the neighbor base stations constructing at least one broadcast message that includes the information of the neighbor base stations according to a result of the comparison, setting up fields of the constructed broadcast message according to information included in the constructed broadcast message and broadcasting the broadcast message including the setup fields.

    摘要: A dual-tank etch method which is suitable for the stripping of a silicon nitride layer from a pad oxide layer provided on a substrate, and etching of the pad oxide layer to a desired target thickness, is disclosed. The method includes providing a first processing tank containing a silicon nitride-stripping chemical; stripping the silicon nitride layer from the pad oxide layer by placing the substrate in the first processing tank; providing a second processing tank containing an oxide-etching chemical; and etching the pad oxide layer to the desired target thickness by placing the substrate in the second processing tank. By carrying out the pad oxide-etching step and the silicon nitride-stripping step in separate processing tanks, accumulation of silicon oxide precipitates in the second processing tank is avoided.

The method includes scanning neighbor base stations around a first base station and requesting time synchronization information from the scanned neighbor base stations by the first base station; receiving responses from predetermined neighbor base stations having already acquired time synchronization from among the neighbor base stations, the responses including time synchronization information of the predetermined neighbor base stations; and selecting a second base station from among the predetermined neighbor base stations and acquiring time synchronization based on the time synchronization information of the second base station.

    摘要: There is provided a method of transmitting power control information to a BSC (Base Station Controller) in a BTS (Base station Transitive System) of a mobile communication system. The BTS receives forward power control (FPC) mode information indicating a slow power control from the BSC and transmits the FPC mode information to an MS (Mobile Station). The BATS extracts an EIB (Erasure Indicator Bit) that is a power control command in a frame period from a reverse pilot channel received from the MS according to the FPC mode information, determines the status of the EIB, and transmits a reverse SCH (Supplemental Channel) message including the EIB status information to the BSC.
