摘要: Processes and systems for making recycle content hydrocarbons, including olefins, from recycled waste material. Recycle waste material may be pyrolyzed to form recycle content pyrolysis oil composition (r-pyoil), at least a portion of which may then be cracked to form a recycle content olefin composition (r-olefin). The r-olefin may then be further separated into product streams in a separation zone downstream of the cracker furnace. In some cases, presence of recycle content hydrocarbons may facilitate more efficient operation of one or more distillation columns in the separation zone, including the debutanizer.

摘要: A pyrolysis method and system are provided that utilizes a multistage dehalogenation method to effectively remove halogen-containing compounds that are present in an initial recycled plastic feedstock. More particularly, the multistage dehalogenation system and process may involve physical sorting the plastic feedstock, melting and separating the feedstock, and subjecting the feedstock a two-stage pyrolysis with intermediate HCl removal.

摘要: A predominantly C2 to C4 hydrocarbon cracker stream is combined with recycle content pyrolysis oil to form a combined cracker stream and the combined cracker stream is cracked in a cracker furnace to provide an olefin-containing effluent. The r-pyoil can be fed to a first coil while a second cracker feed with none of the r-pyoil or less of the r-pyoil is fed to a second coil, and both are cracked in a cracker furnace to form an olefin-containing effluent stream. Alternatively, the r-pyoil can be fed and distributed across multiple coils along with the non-recycle cracker feed. The furnace can be a gas fed furnace, or split cracker furnace. Further, a first cracker stream with r-pyoil in a first coil can have a lower total molar flow rate than a second cracker stream in a second coil in the same furnace.
