Abstract:
Provided is a method for transmitting paging information in a cellular system. An object of the method is transmitting paging information which can improve applicability of a limited radio resource by variably and flexibly setting up and mapping a transport channel and a physical channel in order to transmit information notifying start of downlink information from a base station to a terminal in a cellular system for packet transmission. The method includes the steps of: forming a paging channel (PCH) in a transport channel corresponding to generation of paging information; setting a paging indication channel (PICH) based on the paging information and forming the paging indication channel in a radio resource of a physical layer; and allocating the paging channel to the radio resource of the physical layer.

Abstract:
An operation method for a handover, performed by a terminal, may comprise receiving, from a base station of a serving cell, a first message including parameters for measurement and reporting; transmitting a second message to the base station of the serving cell, the second message including a measurement result based on the parameters for measurement and reporting; receiving a third message from the base station of the serving cell, the third message instructing to receive services simultaneously from the serving cell and a target cell; performing a radio access request procedure with the target cell; and transmitting a fourth message to the base station of the serving cell, the fourth message reporting completion of configuration for receiving the services simultaneously from the serving cell and the target cell.
Abstract:
An operation method of a terminal in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The operation method of the terminal comprises the steps of: receiving common information from any one among a plurality of base stations; and performing a random access procedure with a first base station among the plurality of base stations by using the common information, wherein the step of performing the random access procedure includes the steps of: transmitting a random access preamble; receiving a random access response; and transmitting an uplink message (RACH MSG3). Therefore, a performance of the communication system can be improved.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a control method for supporting multiple connections in a mobile communication system and an apparatus for supporting multiple connections. In the method for supporting the multiple connections to be performed in first and second base stations, a first base station receives the measured results for multiple connections from a terminal, determines whether the plurality of connections are set on the basis of the measured results, transmits the information for setting the multiple connections to the second base station when setting the multiple results, and the second base station generates the control information for setting the multiple connections of the terminal on the basis of the information for setting the multiple connections received from the first base station. Thus, the multiple connections can be easily supported and the performance of the mobile communication system can be improved therethrough.
Abstract:
An operation method of a first communication node, which controls a plurality of communication nodes included in a mobile xhaul network supporting mobility, may comprise performing an attach procedure between the first communication node and a second communication node among the plurality of communication nodes; configuring a path for communications between the second communication node and a third communication node for which attach procedure has been completed among the plurality of communication nodes; and supporting communications of the second communication node and the third communication node using the configured path.
Abstract:
A serving cell performs a connection establishment procedure with terminal equipment, stores the connection configuration information of the terminal equipment, and maintains the connection configuration information of the terminal equipment transited to an idle state depending on a set information maintaining condition. Further, the serving cell provides a service to the terminal equipment using the connection configuration information of the terminal equipment without the connection establishment procedure when the terminal equipment in the idle state tries a re-access.
Abstract:
Provided is a method of transmitting and receiving data using a persistent allocation scheme in order to effectively support a voice service between a base station and a mobile terminal in a packet based mobile communication system. When an error occurs in transmitting control information that indicates whether to use a radio resource using the persistent allocation scheme, the base station may retransmit the control information and thereby maintain a communication quality.
