    摘要: A method and a networking device for transmitting an information stream are provided. The method is executable by a router. The router and a device are located on-board a vehicle and communicatively coupled by an on-board LAN. The router is communicatively coupled to external systems. The method comprises: establishing a first channel between the device and a first external system by using the on-board LAN; transmitting, via the first channel, the information stream; monitoring decision metrics associated with external systems; identifying a second external system to be prioritized over the first external system; switching from the first to a second channel, the switching being seamless to a user, the switching comprising establishing the second channel between the device and the second external system by using the on-board LAN, storing a portion of the information stream; and transmitting via the second channel, the information stream without interruption during the switching.

An operation method of a header terminal comprises the steps of: transmitting a configuration information message including a first indicator indicating a measurement reporting subject to member terminals participating in the sidelink groupcast communication; if the measurement reporting subject indicated by the first indicator is the header terminal, receiving, from the member terminals, measurement reporting messages including results of measurement operations performed for at least one neighboring base station; and transmitting a configuration reporting message including the results of the measurement operations to a serving base station accessed by the header terminal. Therefore, the performance of the communication system can be improved.

    摘要: In one example, a repeater system includes a master unit on a movable object configured to couple to antennas for receiving a downlink RF signal from at least one base station external to the movable object and for transmitting an uplink RF signal towards the at least one base station; and a plurality of remote units each configured to couple to the master unit, each positioned on the movable object and associated with different coverage areas, the remote units each configured to couple to a respective antenna system for transmitting the downlink RF signal into respective coverage areas and for receiving the uplink RF signal from the coverage areas, a control unit, wherein, for at least a subgroup of the remote units, a gain for each remote unit is dynamically adjusted in a time-offset fashion by the control unit to trigger handovers between overlapping base-station cells in a time-offset manner.

    摘要: In an embodiment, an access network (AN) receives a message configured to prompt a conditional allocation of Quality of Service (QoS) resources to an access terminal (AT). The message can be received from the AT or from an application server (AS) that arbitrates a communication session for the AT. In another embodiment, if the AT determines that a QoS resource request has not yet been granted, the AT waits until the traffic channel (TCH) has been obtained for a communication session before resending the QoS resource request. In another embodiment, if the AT determines to initiate or join a second communication session before a confirmation that QoS resources for a first communication session are relinquished, the AT waits until the confirmation is received before a request for QoS resources for the second communication session is sent.
