Abstract: An optical receptacle comprises: a first optical surface; a first transmission part; a light separation unit; and a third optical surface. The light separation unit includes a reflective part and a second transmission part. Given that the optical axis of light which is incident on the first optical surface and exits the second optical surface is defined as a center axis and that an area that has an outer peripheral surface the same distance away from the center axis as the radius of the first optical surface or the second optical surface, whichever is greater, is defined as an optical effective area, the first transmission part and the second transmission part are located within the optical effective area.

Abstract: The optical receptacle of the present invention comprises an optical receptacle body and a support member. The optical receptacle body comprises: a first optical surface upon which is incident light transmitted from the photoelectric conversion element; a second optical surface that emits light transmitted from the photoelectric conversion element to the light transmission medium. The support member comprises a support member body that includes a mounting surface for mounting on a substrate, and a second mating part that mates with the first mating part and that is positioned at a position on the inside of the support member body at a position corresponding to the first mating part. The optical receptacle is positioned on the support member side of the mounting surface.

Abstract: An optical receptacle having a first optical receptacle for transmission and a second optical receptacle for reception. The first optical receptacle has a first engaging section and the second optical receptacle has a second engaging section that engages with the first engaging section. The ratio between the intensity of incident light incident to the first optical receptacle and the intensity of emitted light emitted from the first optical receptacle is smaller than the ratio between the intensity of incident light incident to the second optical receptacle and the intensity of emitted light emitted from the second optical receptacle.

Abstract: An optical receptacle includes: an optical receptacle body; two supporters which are connected to a respective end of the optical receptacle body, wherein each supporter is connected to one end of the optical receptacle body at a central portion of the respective supporter, and the two supporters face each other with a space therebetween; and four adhesive reservoirs which are disposed at respective four corners of the optical receptacle in plan view, wherein each of the adhesive reservoirs is a through hole or a recess, and the through hole or the recess is surrounded circumferentially by the supporter. The optical receptacle body and the two supporters together have a plane symmetrical shape with respect to a plane parallel to an optical axis of the light emitted from each of the second optical surfaces. The four adhesive reservoirs are disposed plane symmetrically with respect to the plane.
