Abstract: This optical receptacle comprises: a first optical surface on which light emitted from a VCSEL is incident; a first reflection part which reflects, as monitor light traveling to a detection element; a light separation part which separates monitor light and signal light; a second optical surface which emits the signal light to the end surface of the optical transmission body; and a third optical surface which emits the monitor light reflected by the first reflection part and the monitor light separated by the light separation part to the detection element. Two second reflection parts of the light separation part are disposed so as to be located within a luminous flux of the light incident on the first optical surface such that a predetermined condition is satisfied.

Abstract: This optical receptacle includes: first, second, and third optical surfaces disposed on a first surface that faces a photoelectric conversion device; fourth and fifth optical surfaces that are disposed on a second surface that faces an optical transmission body; a first reflection surface that is disposed on an optical path between the first optical surface and the fifth optical surface; a second reflection surface that is disposed on an optical path between the second optical surface and the fourth optical surface; and an inclined surface that is disposed between the first reflection surface and the fifth optical surface on an optical path between the first optical surface and the fifth optical surface. The inclined surface functions as a transmissive surface when covered by a light-transmissive material, and functions as a reflective surface when not covered by a light-transmissive material.

Abstract: This optical module has a photoelectric conversion device including a light emitting element, and an optical receptacle for optically coupling an end face of an optical transmission body connected thereto and a light receiving face of a light receiving element. The optical receptacle includes a first optical face on which light emitted from the end face of the optical transmission body is incident, and a second optical face for emitting, toward the light receiving face of the light receiving element, the light incident on the first optical face. An irradiation spot of emitted light from the second optical face on a virtual plane including the light receiving face of the light receiving element is sufficiently large to encompass the entire light receiving face.

Abstract: An optical receptacle includes first to third optical surfaces. The attenuation part includes a plurality of reflecting surfaces that reflects a part of the light entered from the first optical surface and a plurality of transmission surfaces that transmits another part of the light entered from the first optical surface. Abstract: This optical receptacle has a first optical surface, a reflection surface, a second optical surface, a light separation part, and a third optical surface. On the first optical surface, light from a photoelectric conversion element is incident. The reflection surface reflects the light incident on the first optical surface. The second optical surface allows the light reflected by the reflection surface to be emitted toward an end surface of an optical transmission body. The light separation part separates the light reflected by the reflection surface, into monitor light and signal light. The third optical surface allows the monitor light to be emitted toward a detection element. The light separation part includes divided reflection surfaces and divided transmission surfaces. At least one of the divided transmission surfaces includes one or more widened portions each having a width larger than those of the other divided transmission surfaces.

Abstract: This optical module comprises a substrate, light-emitting elements, a ferrule, an optical receptacle, through-holes and an adhesive. The optical receptacle includes two support units, and an optical receptacle body that has a first optical surface and a second optical surface. The through-holes include two first through-holes surrounded by the leading ends of the support units and the ferrule, and two second through-holes which are surrounded by the optical receptacle body, the support units and the ferrule. Thus, even using the adhesive to fix the optical receptacle and the ferrule to the substrate, it is possible to optically connect multiple optical transmission bodies with multiple light-emitting elements or multiple light-receiving elements in a suitable manner.
