Abstract: A light emitting apparatus includes a substrate and light emitting elements including at least one light emitting element that is provided, on the substrate, in each region of plural regions and that emits irradiation light toward a target object, the regions including a first region and a second region and being isolated from each other to be arranged one-dimensionally or two-dimensionally. In the plural regions, an irradiation light amount of at least one light emitting element provided in the first region that is a region located at an end in an arrangement direction is larger than an irradiation light amount of at least one light emitting element provided in the second region that is a region located at a place other than the end in the arrangement direction.

Abstract: A surface emitting laser element array includes multiple two-dimensionally arranged surface-emitting laser element groups each including multiple surface-emitting laser elements. The multiple surface-emitting laser element groups are drivable independently of each other. An irradiation region irradiated with light emitted from the multiple surface-emitting laser element groups has a shape elongated in the first direction. The multiple wiring lines are connected such that in response to the multiple light-emission instruction units sequentially providing a light-emission instruction in the first direction, the light-emitting element groups in the first light-emitting element group row sequentially emit light in the direction intersecting the first direction and, after turning on of the first light-emitting element group row is completed, the light-emitting element groups in the second light-emitting element group row sequentially emit light in the direction intersecting the first direction.
