An examination garment for endoscopy includes a covering portion and a first fluid suppression member. A pants-type covering portion has an insertion port that covers a subject, who is a test object, from a torso portion to a thigh portion, and allows an insertion part of the endoscope to be inserted thereinto. The first fluid suppression member is provided in the insertion port of the covering portion and suppresses passage of the fluid in the insertion port.

Provided is an endoscope that can suppress increase in the temperature of a distal end portion of an insertion section while preventing increase in the number of components and increase in the diameter of the distal end portion. An endoscope includes: a distal end portion body that is provided on a distal end side of an insertion section and that has a distal end, a proximal end, and a longitudinal axis; a treatment tool lead-out port that is formed in the distal end portion body and that leads out a treatment tool inserted through an inside of the insertion section; an elevator support member that is provided in the distal end portion body, that is made of a metal, and that rotatably supports an elevator that controls a lead-out direction in which the treatment tool is led out from the treatment tool lead-out port; a light guide that is inserted through the inside of the insertion section and that emits illumination light through an illumination window formed in the distal end portion body; and a light guide holding portion that is provided in the elevator support member and that holds a light guide distal end portion of the light guide on the illumination window side.

An ultrasonic endoscope includes an ultrasonic transducer that has an ultrasonic vibrator, a distal end portion body that is disposed continuously with a proximal end side of the ultrasonic transducer, an erecting base housing portion that is disposed in the distal end portion body and that has an opening whose opening direction is toward one side in a first direction that is perpendicular to the axial direction of the distal end portion body, a treatment tool lead-out port that communicates with an inside of the erecting base housing portion and from which a treatment tool is led out, an erecting base that is disposed in the inside of the erecting base housing portion and that changes a lead out direction of the treatment tool led out from the treatment tool lead-out port, and a cleaning communication hole that is formed in a wall surface on a side opposite to a side where the opening of the erecting base housing portion is disposed and that communicates with an outside.

According to an aspect of the invention, the circumferential position of a protrusion portion of a light guide member is aligned with the position of a second groove portion of a pressing member and a tip portion of the light guide member is inserted into an insertion hole. Next, the light guide member is rotated to align the circumferential position of the protrusion portion of the light guide member with the position of a first groove portion of a mounting hole, and the tip portion of the light guide member is mounted in the mounting hole of a tip portion body. After that, a screw member is inserted into a through hole of the pressing member, is threadedly inserted into a screw hole of the tip portion body, and fixes the pressing member to a base end face of the tip portion body.

A humidity state at a distal end portion of an endoscope internal space can be reliably estimated without enlarging the diameter of an endoscope insertion part.In a humidity detecting device detecting humidity of an internal space of an endoscope, leakage currents of an imaging device and a peripheral circuit of an electric board disposed at a distal end portion of the internal space of the endoscope are detected and a humidity state of the internal space of the endoscope is determined based upon the detected leakage currents.
