    Abstract: There is provided an ultrasonic endoscope, in which bending of a signal cable at a time of assembling a distal end portion is alleviated and the signal cable is prevented from being disconnected, and a manufacturing method thereof. An ultrasonic endoscope (1) includes a cable insertion hole (88), a storing portion (90) that is formed on a distal end side of the cable insertion hole (88), an ultrasonic transducer (50) that has an ultrasonic vibrator disposed in the storing portion (90), an elevator housing portion (62) that is open in a first direction, an elevator (60), and a distal end portion main body (36) that has a signal cable (86) connected to the ultrasonic vibrator, in which the storing portion (90) is disposed at a position offset in a second direction orthogonal to a first direction from a position where the cable insertion hole (88) is provided, the storing portion (90) has a cable introducing portion (92) that introduces the signal cable (86) into the cable insertion hole (88), and the cable introducing portion (92) has a guiding surface (94) in which a width of the storing portion (90) in the second direction gradually increases toward a proximal end side, and a manufacturing method thereof.

    Abstract: Provided is an ultrasound endoscope capable of suppressing image quality deterioration of an ultrasound image and achieving reduction in diameter.
    An ultrasound endoscope includes an insertion part that includes a distal end part having an ultrasound transducer array in which a plurality of ultrasound transducers are arranged, a cable that is inserted into the insertion part, and a substrate that electrically connects the plurality of ultrasound transducers and the cable, and is disposed in the distal end part. The cable has a non-coaxial cable that includes a first cable bundle consisting of a plurality of signal wires and a plurality of ground wires, and a first shield layer with which the first cable bundle is coated, and an outer coat with which a second cable bundle consisting of a plurality of the non-coaxial cables is coated. The substrate includes a plurality of electrode pads connected to the plurality of ultrasound transducers, respectively. Each first cable bundle is individually led out from the cable, and each signal wire of the first cable bundle is led out and electrically connected to the corresponding electrode pad of the substrate. The plurality of ultrasound transducers are configured in a plurality of drive units to be driven simultaneously. The plurality of signal wires of each first cable bundle are connected to a plurality of electrode pads in each drive unit to configure a signal wire group, and the signal wire group includes at least two kinds or more of signal wires different in length from a distal end of the first cable bundle.

    Abstract: Provided is an endoscope that can fix a guidewire and stably hold a treatment tool.     Abstract: An ultrasound endoscope includes an insertion part including a distal end part having an ultrasound transducer array of ultrasound transducers, a cable inserted into the insertion part, and a substrate, including electrode pads, that electrically connects the ultrasound transducers and the cable, and is disposed in the distal end part. The cable has a non-coaxial cable including a first cable bundle consisting of signal wires and ground wires, and a first shield layer with which the first cable bundle is coated, and an outer coat with which a second cable bundle consisting of the non-coaxial cables is coated. Each first cable bundle is individually led out from the cable, and each signal wire of the first cable bundle is led out and electrically bonded to the corresponding electrode pad. The ultrasound endoscope further includes a fixing part that fixes relative positions of the substrate and each first cable bundle.
