An insulation support system for an exhaust gas system gas turbine includes an outer casing having an inner surface and a liner sheet having an inner surface and that defines an insulation gap is defined between the inner surface of the liner sheet and the inner surface of the outer casing. The system further includes a support member that extends from the inner surface of the outer casing to the inner surface of the liner sheet and a threaded fastener that is fixedly connected to one of inner surface of the outer casing or the support member. The threaded fastener has a fixed depth and is aligned with a fastener hole of the liner sheet. The system further includes a bolt that extends through the bolt hole of the liner sheet and threadingly engages with the threaded fastener.

The present application provides a pulse filtration system for use with a compressor of a gas turbine engine. The pulse filtration system may include a pulse filter, a compressed air system in communication with the pulse filter, and a filter bag surrounding the pulse filter in whole or in part.
Abstract:
The present application provides an inlet bleed heat system for supplying a flow of bleed air to a flow of incoming air into a compressor of a gas turbine engine. The inlet bleed heat system may include an air knife and a silencer panel. The air knife may include a compressor bleed air port in communication with the flow of bleed air and a discharge gap to discharge the flow of bleed air into the flow of incoming air. The air knife may and the silencer panel may form an integrated air knife/silencer panel.
Abstract:
A system includes a temperature control system configured to couple to an air intake section of a gas turbine system. The temperature control system includes a variable heating system having one or more heaters configured to heat an airflow in the air intake section when the airflow is cooled by an evaporative cooling system. The temperature control system is configured to control the variable heating system to vary an amount of heat supplied by the one or more heaters based on at least one temperature measurement relative to a temperature threshold.
Abstract:
A system includes a system includes an exhaust section which receives an exhaust flow of a gas turbine, where the exhaust section includes a catalyst assembly. The system includes an exhaust duct coupled to the diffuser section upstream of the catalyst assembly, where the exhaust duct extracts a return portion of the exhaust flow. The system includes a filter house coupled to the exhaust duct, where the filter house is receives a combined flow of an ambient air flow and the return portion. The system includes a return conduit coupled to the filter house and the exhaust section, where the return conduit is coupled to the exhaust section upstream of the exhaust duct. The return conduit directs the combined flow to the exhaust section, and the catalyst assembly receives a mixed flow including the exhaust flow and the combined flow.
Abstract:
A system includes a silencer baffle which mounts in a fluid conduit along a fluid flow path, where the silencer baffle includes a plurality of baffle sections. At least two baffle sections of the plurality of baffle sections couple together via mating interlock structures, and at least one baffle section of the plurality of baffle sections has first and second baffle portions which couple together via mating joints.
Abstract:
An inlet bleed heat (IBH) system for use in a turbine engine including a silencer assembly. The inlet bleed heat (IBH) system includes a feed pipe for delivering compressor discharge air. The feed pipe includes a plurality of orifices along at least a portion of a length of the feed pipe, and each orifice of the plurality of orifices extends through a wall of the feed pipe for allowing the compressor discharge air to exit the feed pipe. The system also includes a heat shielding component that extends across the feed pipe, wherein the heat shielding component is configured to reduce heat transfer between the feed pipe and the silencer assembly of the turbine engine.
Abstract:
An exhaust stack assembly includes an exhaust stack having an internal surface that defines an interior of the exhaust stack. The exhaust stack is configured to receive exhaust gas from at least one turbomachine component and exhaust the exhaust gas to atmosphere. The exhaust gas assembly further includes a plurality of attenuation assemblies disposed in the interior, each of the plurality of attenuation assemblies including a base substrate generally oriented in the direction of flow of the exhaust gas through the interior, each of the plurality of attenuation assemblies further including a plurality of attenuation modules mounted to the base substrate. Each of the plurality of attenuation modules includes a fiber mesh. The fiber mesh is exposed to the exhaust gas in the interior.
