Abstract: A wireless charging device includes a driver unit configured to generate one of a first AC voltage signal having a first frequency and a second AC voltage signal having a second frequency. Also, the wireless charging device includes a transmitting unit having a first coil and a first capacitor and configured to transmit the first AC voltage signal. Further, the transmitting unit includes a second coil and a second capacitor and configured to transmit the second AC voltage signal. Additionally, the wireless charging device includes a control unit configured to detect a first receiver device operating at the first frequency based on a change in a first voltage in the transmitting unit, and detect a second receiver device operating at the second frequency based on a change in a second voltage in the transmitting unit.

Abstract: A power transfer device and an associated method thereof are disclosed. The power transfer device includes a driver unit having a plurality of converters. The driver unit includes a plurality of legs forming ones of the plurality of converters, such that at least one leg of a first converter of the plurality of converters is common to a second converter of the plurality of converters. Each converter of the plurality of converters includes an output terminal. The driver unit may include a plurality of transmitter coils. In some implementations, a different transmitter coil is coupled to each output terminal of a respective converter.

Abstract: A system including a primary coil assembly is provided. The primary coil assembly is configured to operate at a first resonant frequency having a first bandwidth; wherein a difference between the first resonant frequency and a system frequency is at least two times the first bandwidth, where the first resonant frequency is selected such that upon energizing the primary coil assembly at the system frequency, a primary current is induced in the primary coil assembly, which is at least ten times lesser than a system current.

Abstract: A power generation system is disclosed. The power generation system includes a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) coupled to a variable speed engine and a photo-voltaic (PV) power source. The DFIG includes a generator to generate a first electrical power based at least partially on an operating speed of the variable speed engine. The PV power source may supply a second electrical power to a Direct Current (DC) link between a rotor side converter and a line side converter of the DFIG. The generator and the line side converter are coupled to an electric grid and/or a local electrical load to supply the first electrical power and at least a portion of the second electrical power to the local electrical load.

A condition of the equipment is diagnosed based on information provided by signals from a generator operationally connected to the equipment or other signals associated with an engine. Different types of degradation are distinguished based on discerning characteristics within the information. Thus, a degraded equipment component can be identified in a manner that reduces service induced delay.
