The invention is a wireless device with the ability to operate, transmit and/or receive, in one or more IMT bands and one or more non-IMT bands that are licensed to services and/or applications other than IMT. This is accomplished through inclusion in the wireless device of one or more radios operating in licensed IMT bands, an “IMT radio”, and one or more radios operating in licensed non-IMT bands, a “non-IMT radio”. A non-IMT radio could be a stand-alone, separate radio inside the wireless device or an extension or modification of the IMT radio in a way that it covers non-IMT bands.

The data set is mapped to the spreading code set to create a multiplex of spreading codes, and the multiplex of spreading codes are then summed to form a code multiplex. The code multiplex can then be sent in one transmit opportunity.

The end nodes track the timing signals to determine when to transmit upstream data in accordance with the transmission sequence. The optical network includes an outside plant node coupled to the system head end with a distribution fiber. The outside plant node is coupled to the end nodes with drop fibers. The outside plant node includes a splitter/combiner and the wavelength selective reflective element. The wavelength selective reflective element reflects the timing signals on the second wavelength and passes upstream and downstream data on other wavelengths.

The method for producing the vehicle wheel hub and bearing assembly comprises the steps of: (a) providing a vehicle wheel hub including an inboard end, an outboard end, and a main body having a radially outwardly extending flange, the flange having an outer surface which defines an outer brake rotor mounting surface of the vehicle wheel hub; (b) providing a bearing unit to rotatably support the vehicle wheel hub relative thereto; (c) assembling the bearing unit onto the vehicle wheel hub to produce a vehicle wheel hub and bearing unit assembly which defines a longitudinal axis; (d) preloading the bearing unit; (e) providing a microfinishing assembly having a microfinishing wheel; (f) supporting the vehicle wheel hub and bearing assembly on the microfinishing fixture; and (g) operating the microfinishing fixture whereby the microfinishing wheel engages the outer brake rotor mounting surface of the vehicle wheel hub and bearing unit assembly to produce a finished vehicle wheel hub and bearing assembly, the outer brake rotor mounting surface of the finished vehicle wheel and bearing unit assembly being microfinished relative to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle wheel hub and bearing unit assembly.

The circular spreading code is a pseudo-noise spreading code that is shifted by n. This circular pseudo-noise spreading code is then used to spread an information signal by modulating the information signal with the circular pseudo-noise spreading code. The same circular pseudo-noise spreading code is also used to demodulate the signal. The value of n used is that which corresponds to the value of the signal to be spread.
