    摘要: A system for dressing centrifugal clutches has a drum tool with an internal abrasive surface, and a flap tool with abrasive flaps. The drum tool can replace the clutch drum on the clutch driven shaft to dress the clutch shoes, or the flap tool can replace the clutch shoes and mechanism on the clutch drive shaft, which may be the engine crankshaft, to dress the clutch drum. In either case, the tool being used and the component being dressed can accurately simulate the engagement of the clutch shoes and clutch drum in operation, so that the clutch drum and shoes can be accurately dressed to the correct shape, matching each other, for use.

    摘要: To provide a method of and an apparatus for grinding a brake pad in which inclined faces at both ends of the brake pad can be ground along a single route and no grinding limit quantity is generated whether the boundary lines are parallel with each other or not. The apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a fixing portion 11 for fixing a brake pad 3; a rotary whetstone 21 having a rotation axis parallel to a friction face 3a of the brake pad 3, a grinding face of which distance to the rotation axis increases gradually or in plurality of steps in one direction of the rotation axis, and another grinding face of which distance to the rotation axis decreases gradually or in plurality of steps in the one direction of the rotation axis; and a transporter 10 for moving one of the brake pad and the rotary whetstone in relation to each other in a intersecting direction to the rotation axis.

    摘要: An apparatus for grinding molded friction products comprises a rotary indexing table with a substantially horizontal indexing table. The table surface indexes from one indexing position to another. Tool fixtures support friction product parts to be ground on a friction surface thereof. The tool fixtures are disposed on the rotary indexing table at the indexing positions. A grind stone is disposed above the indexing table surface for grinding the friction product part supported in the tool fixture at one of the indexing positions. The grind stone rotates about a grind axis which is substantially parallel to said central axis of said indexing grind table, but can be tilted by a small angle so as to provide a skim cut grind to the product. The method provides for performing operations at all indexing positions simultaneously.
