    摘要: The present invention is an optical terminal device comprising a signal modulator configured to generate a first signal modulated onto a first optical sideband of a first optical wavelength signal and a second signal modulated onto a second sideband of the first optical wavelength signal, the first signal being a different type than the second signal; a receiver configured to receive a third signal modulated onto the first optical sideband of a second optical wavelength signal and a fourth signal modulated onto a second sideband of the second optical wavelength signal, the third signal being a different type than the fourth signal; and a circulator coupled to the signal modulator and the receiver, wherein the circulator is configured to communicate with a node of an integrated network via an optical fiber. A remote node, a communication terminal, and a method of performing integrated network access are also disclosed.

    摘要: The station-side terminal apparatus for the optical access network includes: the station-side terminal apparatus; the subscriber-side terminal apparatuses connected to the station-side terminal apparatus via the optical transmission line; the terminal devices to which mutually different wavelengths are assigned; and the communication failure detecting unit. Each of the terminal devices includes the uplink communication state monitoring unit configured to monitor a state of uplink communication for each registered subscriber-side terminal apparatus, on the basis of the input uplink signal, and the downlink communication failure information extracting unit configured to extract information of a state of downlink communication, which is transmitted from the registered subscriber-side terminal apparatus. The communication failure detecting unit detects a failure of the uplink communication and a failure of the downlink communication, on the basis of the state of the uplink communication and the state of the downlink communication.

    摘要: A method of tuning a wavelength in a TWDM-PON which has a plurality of operable channels is provided. First, a second channel is added as an operating channel of the TWDM-PON in which at least a first channel is working, and then an OLT that is providing a service to an ONU through the first channel requests the ONU to tune to the second channel. In response to receiving the request, the ONU determines whether a downstream wavelength of the second channel has been recorded thereon. According to the determination result, the ONU sends to the OLT an ACK message that indicates that the ONU is able to perform wavelength tuning and then commences wavelength tuning to the second channel, or the ONU sends to the OLT a NACK message that indicates that the ONU is unable to perform wavelength tuning.
