摘要: A generally flat carton blank is arranged for assembly into a carton shape holding multiple cigarette packs. The carton blank has a defined periphery, and a generally flat promotional sheet overlies the carton blank within the outer periphery thereof. A portion of the promotional sheet is adhesively secured to the carton blank. In another embodiment a generally flat promotional sheet overlies the carton blank essentially within the outer periphery thereof. Both carton blank each with its associated promotional sheet may then be assembled and loaded with cigarette packs utilizing standard assembly machinery and standard procedures. Fold lines on the carton blank and the promotional sheet facilitate assembly of the carton blank into a carton shape with the promotional sheet inside the assembled carton. In one embodiment, the remaining portion of the promotional sheet is folded into the form of a packaging sleeve holding multiple cigarette packs for retail distribution upon removal of the sleeve and cigarette packs from the carton. In another embodiment of the present invention, the remaining portion of the promotional sheet simply comprises a planar carton insert for ultimate use by the consumer in obtaining rebates, merchandise and the like or when the promotional sheet is simply used for printed matter.

摘要: A process of providing an inorganic anti-stick coating directly on non-oriented, semi-processed electrical steels by applying to such steels a coating solution containing Al.sup.+++, Mg.sup.++, and H.sub.2 PO.sub.4.sup.- in a specified relative relationship, the concentration of Al.sup.+++, Mg.sup.++, and H.sub.2 PO.sub.4.sup.- comprising 100 parts by weight calculated as Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, MgO and H.sub.3 PO.sub.4, respectively, on a water-free basis. The coating solution may additionally contain from 0 to 150 parts by weight of colloidal silica on a water-free basis. Chromic anhydride (C.sub.r O.sub.3) may be added to the coating solution to improve its wettability and improve the moisture resistance of the anti-stick coating. The coating solution is so diluted with water as to provide a uniform coating as thin as possible to prevent lamination sticking and having a coating weight of less than 2 grams per square meter on each side. The coated electrical steel is subjected to a heat treatment to cure the anti-stick coating thereon.

摘要: Insulative coatings for electrical steels and methods of making them. The coatings are hard, glassy and smooth in nature, are easily cured and improve the magnetic characteristics of the electrical steels. The coatings are produced by applying to an electrical steel an aluminum-magnesium-phosphate solution containing Al.sup.+.sup.+.sup.+, Mg.sup.+.sup.+ and H.sub.2 PO.sub.4.sup.- in a specified relative relationship and from 0 to 60% by weight colloidal silica on a water-free basis. The solutions contain at least 45% by weight water. Chromic anhydride (CrO.sub.3) may be added to the coating solutions to improve wettability of the solutions, moisture resistance of the resulting coatings and interlaminar resistivity after stress relief anneal. An electrical steel coated with a solution of the present invention is thereafter subjected to a heat treatment to cure the insulative coating thereon.

摘要: The operation of a television system or photographic camera in concert with line or boundary indicators or monitors at a sporting contest are controlled. When the indicator detects an event of interest during the contest being monitored, such as an intrusion or the presence of an object along a line or boundary, a signal is sent to a video replay recorder, also known as an instant replay system, to continue recording for a predetermined interval and thereafter cease. An indicator or mark is also transmitted into the recording system on occurrence of the event of interest and is recorded along with the continuing event until recording ceases. After recording ceases, operators of the television system may then play back the recorded event into the television system. During the play back, the recorded indicator is also transmitted into the television system to appear on television screens and indicate the time of occurrence of the event of interest.A photographic camera may also be caused to photograph the event in response to the indicator in conjunction with the replay recorder, or separate therefrom.

摘要: A low density, refractory stopper rod sleeve has a substantially imperforate surface and a core containing a plurality of randomly spaced, internal and discontinuous small voids. The density of the sleeve is less than 2.0 gr./cc and the preferred density range is 1.60 to 1.85 gr./cc. The sleeve is made up of six parts by volume refractory clay mix to four parts of a combustible waste material such as wet sawdust which does not exceed a screen size of 10 mesh. The sleeves are made by the stiff mud process which includes extruding the mix into solid, cylindrical blanks and forming the blanks in a die in which the final sleeve is slidably disengaged from the die. After drying the sleeve is processed through a normal firing cycle until it reaches approximately 1500.degree.F at which time it is held for a prolonged period of time to drive off the carbonaceous material associated with the waste combustible in the mix.

摘要: Insulative coatings for electrical steels having improved resistance to deterioration during stress relief anneals or other heat treatments carried on in reducing atmospheres. They may be produced by coating electrical steel with an aqueous solution of phosphoric acid, magnesium oxide and one or more additional mineral acids present in an amount sufficient to adjust the pH level of the solution to from about 0.5 to about 3.0. The mole ratio Mg/PO.sub.4 should be from about 0.6 to about 1.5.
