摘要: Formulations and methods for the electropolishing of metals. The formulations include a solid electrolyte having a type of active particles of resin of ionic exchange charged with an acid solution that generate a chemical activity and an electric activity, and at least a type of moderating particles of the chemical action of the active particles and/or moderating particles of the electric conductivity of the active particles, so that the moderating particles reduce the attacks localized on the surface of the polished part provoked by the exudates of the active particles.

摘要: Method of manufacturing a spectrally selective surface. The method comprises cleaning an outside of a tubular substrate, e.g. by sonicating in acetone, polishing the cleaned outside, and depositing a Co—Cr coating on the polished outside, i.e. the tubular substrate's outside. The Co—Cr coating comprises Co(II) compounds and Cr(III) compounds but no Cr(VI) compounds. By applying a DES electrolyte Cr(III)-ions may be solved in the electrolyte such that a receiver tube arranged in the electrolyte may become coated with a selective Co—Cr coating from Cr(III)-ions, where the optical characteristics regarding absorptance and emittance for the resulting receiver tube are comparable or surpasses traditional black chrome. Thereby use of harmful hexavalent chrome could be avoided, which may achieve more healthy and environmental friendly conditions. Particularly, no harmful Cr(VI)-ions or rest substances comprising them will contaminate ambient air or need to be handled or disposed.

摘要: A bioabsorbable medical device or a medical device component comprises an absorbable component prepared by subjecting a prefabricated component of an iron-based raw material to ion nitriding. Substance composition inside the absorbable component changes with the depth from the surface. The absorbable component comprises at least a first part and a second part. The first part surrounds the second part. Hardness of the first part is higher than hardness of the second part. An interface exists between the first part and the second part. A crack generated in the first part is impeded by the interface when extending to the second part. On the premise of ensuring radial stand strength, the bioabsorbable medical device or medical device component and a preparation method thereof reduce wall thickness of an iron-based stand, improve a stand corrosion rate and malleability, and achieve broader adaptability.

摘要: The present invention describes a cost-saving and environmentally conserving process for the electrochemical polishing of steel, in particular of low-alloy steels. The workpieces are rinsed after electropolishing in an arid phosphoric acid-sulfuric acid-bath in a first rinsing step with a phosphoric acid-containing solution, whereby a chemical attack on the freshly polished surfaces is avoided without the use of environmentally harmful and unhealthy inhibitors such as chromates. By recycling of the acids and the rinsing solution, these acids and solutions can be regenerated, whereby the process can be designed effluent-free.
