    Abstract: According to some examples, solutions are provided for power distribution of input alternating current (AC) power to at least one power outlet while the input AC power is available, charging of a set of batteries by the input AC power while the input AC power is available, and power distribution of direct current (DC) power from the set of batteries to the power outlet when the input AC power is not available. For such examples, the power outlet is capable of conducting AC power and DC power to a load that is coupled to the power outlet and that can receive either AC power or DC power.

    Abstract: An apparatus includes a plurality of energy storage modules (ESMs) to store charge. Each ESM includes module inputs to receive the charge. A plurality of charging circuits supply electrical energy to charge the ESMs via an output from each of the charging circuits.     Abstract: Techniques for providing an uninterruptible power supply are disclosed. An example system includes three single-phase Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs) and an adapter. The adapter is to receive three-phase AC power, and separate the three-phase AC power into three separate single-phase outputs. Each single-phase output is coupled to an input of one of the three single-phase UPSs. An output of each one of the single-phase UPSs is coupled to one of three single-phase inputs of the adapter, and the adapter is to combine the three single-phase inputs into a single three-phase output.

The UPS includes a charging circuit to charge the battery sets using alternating current (AC) power. The UPS includes a slot receptive to insertion of different types of output modules that each include an inverter to convert direct current (DC) power from the first and second battery sets, including a first type that connects the first and second battery sets in parallel and a second type that connects the battery first and second sets in series.
