Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for monitoring execution of air traffic control (ATC) conditional clearances for a user aircraft. The method monitors ATC clearances transmitted to all other aircraft across each communication channel from an airport. Every other aircraft is identified and the relevant data each ATC clearance is transcribed. A dependency table is generated for the user aircraft with the relevant data from every other aircraft. The dependency table identifies each relevant clearance that must be completed by all other aircraft before the user aircraft executes a conditional ATC clearance. The status of all relevant dependent ATC clearances is monitored and the user aircraft is informed of its conditional ATC clearance upon completion of the relevant dependent ATC clearances.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for detecting an intrusion event in a network. At a gateway device in the network, performance parameters of the gateway device are monitored. Steady-state operations are defined based on expected performance of the device parameters. The steady-state operations are compared to the monitored device performance and other context parameters. A hybrid network intrusion detection technique is activated to determine a presence of the intrusion event for known and unknown attacks.

One exemplary method involves obtaining a first clearance communication associated with a first aircraft, obtaining a second clearance communication associated with a second aircraft, identifying a first conversational context associated with the first clearance communication, identifying a second conversational context associated with the second clearance communication, identifying a discrepancy between the first clearance communication and the second clearance communication based at least in part on the first conversational context and the second conversational context, and in response to identifying the discrepancy, generating a user notification at one of the first aircraft and the second aircraft.

Abstract: A system for presenting broadcasted aeronautical information in an aircraft is provided. Abstract: Systems and methods for contextual alerts during ground operations are provided. The system generates unique alerts for each type of hot-spot and commands a display system to render an image of the route, the relevant signage features, and the hot-spots. The system receives an assigned runway and references an airport features database to construct a route and travel direction for the aircraft. The system analyzes the signage features associated with the route and identifies the relevant signage features. The system processes the route with external inputs, such as notices to airmen (NOTAM), traffic data, and novel rules and data tables, from which the system identifies various kinds of hot-spots. The hot-spots include those that are aerodrome design based, those that are traffic related, and those that are temporal, based on short term closures or operational scenarios.
