Abstract: This application relates to the field of communications technologies, and discloses a resource configuration method and a node. The method includes: sending, by an parent node of a first node, first configuration information to the first node; and then determining, by the first node based on the first configuration information, a second resource for communication between the first node and a child node served by the first node. In this way, the determined second resource can implement orthogonalization between DMRS ports of an access link of the first node and a backhaul link of the first node, and therefore, link performance is improved.

In the correspondence, at least one MCS index of the plurality of MCS indexes corresponds to a set modulation schemes which comprises π/2 binary phase shift keying (π/2-BPSK) modulation and quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) modulation. A first communication device receives a target modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index from a second communication device, determines a target modulation scheme corresponding to the target index number based on the correspondence, and performs communication with the second communication device based on the target modulation scheme.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method for transmitting a reference signal, including: sending, by a network device to UE, information about a waveform, an antenna port, and a resource block, where the waveform includes an OFDM waveform or a DFT-s-OFDM waveform, the antenna port indicates a resource mapping pattern used by the UE to send or receive a reference signal, and in a symbol of the resource mapping pattern, a reference signal corresponding to the DFT-s-OFDM waveform is mapped in frequency domain in a comb-shaped manner, and a reference signal corresponding to the OFDM waveform is mapped to a frequency domain resource to which the DFT-s-OFDM waveform is not mapped; and sending, by the network device, the reference signal or receiving the reference signal on the resource block based on the information about the waveform, the information about the antenna port, and the information about the resource block.

The terminal device determines an estimated measurement result of a second reference signal based on the preset inference model and the measurement result of the first reference signal, determines a candidate reference signal set based on the estimated measurement result of the second reference signal, and measures a candidate reference signal in the candidate reference signal set to determine an actual measurement result of the candidate reference signal. According to embodiments of this application, signaling exchange overheads and a delay can be reduced, and energy consumption of the terminal device can be reduced.
