Abstract:
A service implementation method, apparatus, and system are disclosed. The service implementation method includes: receiving, by a serving gateway, a data packet of a terminal device sent by a packet data network gateway; if the data packet is a data packet with a serving priority and the serving gateway has sent a paging trigger message with a serving priority to a mobility management element, skipping, by the serving gateway, sending a paging trigger message to the mobility management element; or if the data packet is a data packet with a serving priority and the serving gateway has sent no paging trigger message with a serving priority to a mobility management element, sending, by the serving gateway, a paging trigger message to the mobility management element; wherein the paging trigger message is used to enable the mobility management element to page the terminal device.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus are provided for performing policy control on a data packet. The method includes: allocating, by a local gateway, a port range to a UE, where the port range is unique to the UE; sending, by the local gateway, the port range of the UE and user information to a policy server, so that the policy server makes a policy rule for the UE, where the policy rule contains the port range; and performing, by the local gateway, network address translation on a packet sent by the UE, so that a source port of the converted packet is in the port range, and sending the converted packet to a network gateway in a fixed network, so that the network gateway performs policy control on the packet according to the policy rule received from the policy server.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a smart space access method, a system, a controller, and a smart space interface server. The smart space access method includes: determining, by a controller that the controller enters a smart space in a smart space list; receiving a main mobile code corresponding to the smart space; and loading and executing the main mobile code, displaying a main service interface, generating a smart space request according to a service number of a selected application, sending the smart space request to the interface server, executing a result mobile code sent by the interface server, and displaying a processing result of the selected application. According to the present disclosure, access to different smart applications in different smart spaces can be implemented in a uniform manner by using a single controller without preinstalling a control program of a smart space, thereby providing a good expansibility.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to network access methods and apparatuses. One of the methods includes: receiving, by a second SGSN, a first reject cause value sent by an access network device, where the first reject cause value is sent by a first SGSN to the access network device; acquiring, by the second SGSN, a second reject cause value from itself; and sending, by the second SGSN, a softer reject cause value between the first reject cause value and the second reject cause value to the access network device.
Abstract:
This application provides methods, devices, and systems. In an example method performed by a session management network element, the session management network element receives a first policy and charging control (PCC) rule from a policy control network element, wherein the first PCC rule comprises indication information, and the indication information indicates that a service corresponding to the first PCC rule is a time sensitive service. The session management network element binds the first PCC rule to a quality of service (QoS) flow, wherein no other PCC rule is bound to the QoS flow.
Abstract:
A method includes obtaining a first multi-access edge computing (MEC) access point to be accessed by terminals in a terminal group of a first service. The first MEC access point is obtained based on network topology information of MEC access points that are respectively closest to the terminals and that support the first service. The network topology information indicates at least one of whether at least two MEC access points are connected or performance of a link between at least two MEC access points. The terminal group includes one or more of a terminal requesting the first service or a terminal subscribing to the first service. The method also includes sending an identifier of the first MEC access point to a session management network element that controls the terminals. The identifier of the first MEC access point is used by the terminals to access the first MEC access point.
Abstract:
This application discloses an application discovery method and apparatus, and a system. A session management function network element receives first information from a first network element, and determines second information based on at least the first information and location information of a terminal device. The session management function network element sends the second information to the first network element. The second information is for obtaining a first IP address corresponding to a first domain name.
Abstract:
This application provides a slice information update method and an apparatus. The method includes: when determining that a network slice that was once not supported by a PLMN is updated to be supported by the PLMN, sending, by a network slice selection network element, a notification message to a communications network element, where the notification message is used to indicate that the PLMN supports the network slice; and notifying, by the communications network element, a terminal that failed to request the network slice and has subscribed to the network slice that the PLMN currently supports the network slice. In this way, the corresponding terminal learns that the PLMN currently supports the network slice.
Abstract:
Embodiments of this application disclose a domain name system server determining method, and a request processing method, apparatus, and system. An embodiment of this application provides a domain name system server determining method, including: A session management function network element determines an address of a first domain name system server based on a first location of user equipment, where the first domain name system server is a local domain name system server that resolves a domain name of a first application into a corresponding first Internet protocol address, which is associated with the first location; and the session management function network element sends the address of the first domain name system server to a first device.
Abstract:
Embodiments of this application provide a method for selecting an access network type, a device, and a system, to flexibly select an access network type. An example method includes: determining, by a policy control function PCF entity, that a network status of a first network does not meet a preset condition, where the first network is a network currently accessed by a terminal; and sending, by the PCF entity, an access network type corresponding to a second network to the terminal, where the access network type corresponding to the second network is used to instruct the terminal to redirect a session of the terminal to the second network, and the second network is a network other than the first network.
