Abstract: This application provides a user plane path selection method and an apparatus. The method includes: A first network element determines, based on at least one service type corresponding to a terminal device, service experience analytics data corresponding to the at least one service type, and then selects one or more user plane paths for a session of the terminal device based on the service experience analytics data. This enables a user plane path to be associated with a service, helps select a more appropriate user plane path for the terminal device, and can improve communication efficiency.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a circuit switched fallback method, a network device, and a system. The method includes: determining, by the network device, that a serving cell handover process of UE is ended; determining, by the network device, that before the serving cell handover process of the UE is ended, it has been determined that the UE needs to be moved to a second network supporting a circuit switched service; and moving, by the network device, the UE to the second network. According to the foregoing method, when CSFB triggered by a CS service initiated by UE conflicts with a serving cell handover process of the UE, the CS service of the UE can continue to be performed after completing the serving cell handover process of the UE. In this way, a success rate of establishing the CS service is increased.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a call hold method and a terminal. The method includes: when an originating call of a terminal triggers a CS voice service, sending first indication information to an IMS sublayer by using a CC sublayer, so that the IMS sublayer detects whether an IMS voice session exists; sending signaling to a network if the IMS voice session exists, where the signaling is used to trigger a hold procedure of the INS voice session, so that the IMS voice session is in a hold state; and after the terminal completes establishment of a mobility management connection, establishing, according to second indication information, a second CS session corresponding to the IMS voice session, where the second CS session is in a hold state, thereby avoiding a case of session abnormality.
