    摘要: A dual guidewire exchange catheter system and methods are provided herein. The dual guidewire exchange catheter system includes two lumens for receiving therethrough a main vessel guidewire and a branch vessel guidewire, respectively. The catheter includes an exit port for each guidewire, at least one of which is a shorter distance from the distal end of the catheter system than the distance from the distal end to the proximal end of the catheter. This allows for management of relatively short guidewire lengths outside the body.

    摘要: A catheter system comprises a catheter having a catheter body with a distal end, a proximal end, a main vessel guidewire lumen for receiving a main vessel guidewire and a balloon disposing at the distal end of the catheter body. The catheter further includes a side member that is disposed adjacent to the catheter body. The side member has a distal end, a proximal end, and a branch vessel guidewire lumen for receiving a branch vessel guidewire. A stent having a side hole is disposed over the balloon, and a distal portion of the side member is disposed beneath at least a portion of the stent while being adjacent to and movable with respect to the balloon.

    摘要: A method for placing a stent into a main vessel such that the stent side hole aligns with a branch vessel ostium comprises inserting a main vessel guidewire into the main vessel and a branch vessel guidewire into the main vessel until a distal end of the branch vessel guidewire passes into the branch vessel. A catheter system is positioned over the main vessel guidewire and the branch vessel guidewire. The catheter system is advanced over the guidewires until the catheter body passes beyond the ostium of the branch vessel and the side member extends into the branch vessel. Marker separation is observed to indicate the catheter body passed beyond the ostium and the side member extends into the branch vessel. The balloon is inflated to deploy the stent with the side hole being aligned with the ostium. The balloon is deflated, and the catheter system is withdrawn.

    摘要: A system for configuring objects such as buttons for screens presented in a touch screen display. The configuration may be automatically based on preset styles. The graphical elements or icons and textual elements may be created once but used multiple times in various places. Multiple graphical and textual elements may be displayed on any button of the screens. The system may be based on the use of a predefined set of button styles that define the layout of each textual and graphical element in basic terms, such as left, right, and center. These styles do not necessarily prescribe a size, but a layout of the elements. The sizing, layout, justification, and clipping of each element may be determined by the button style. For each button style, the assigned textual and graphical elements may be automatically placed for the best or optimal layout and fit.
