摘要： A gas generator for an air bag comprises: a housing having a gas discharging port; an initiator assembly provided with a first igniter and a second igniter mounted to the housing via a holder, each of the first igniter and the second igniter including a priming activated upon an impact, the second igniter having, a center pin connected to an external power supply to constitute a positive electrode, a grounding pin connected to a metal portion of a motor vehicle to constitute a negative electrode, and an opening-shutting device of current provided between the center pin and the external power supply; and gas generating material ignited and burnt by the initiator assembly.

The medium-resistance external additive coating ratio of particles, of which mother particles have equivalent diameters smaller or larger than a diameter of a mother particle diameter, which is equal to the mean particle diameter of the toner, is set to be higher than a virtual reference curve in synchronous distribution of the particle diameters of synchronous medium-resistance external additive particles, relative to the diameters of mother particles. Further, the medium-resistance external additive coating ratios of particles in a range in which mother particles have diameters smaller than d1, and in a range in which mother particles have diameters larger than d2, are set to be higher than a virtual reference curve in synchronous distribution of the particle diameters of synchronous medium-resistance external additive particles relative to the diameters of mother particles.

摘要： There is provided a multistage gas generator for an air bag in which the entire size of a container is suppressed, a volume ratio of each combustion chamber can arbitrarily be adjusted. Ignition means 311 are respectively disposed in the combustion chambers 305 and 306 provided in a housing 303. At least one of the combustion chambers is provided inside an inner shell 304 disposed eccentrically with respect to the center axis of the housing 3. The respective ignition means are disposed eccentrically with respect to the center axis of the housing 3. Further, a communication hole which allows mutual communication between the combustion chambers is provided. An automatic ignition material (AIM) which is to be ignited and burnt by a transmitted heat is provided in either one of the combustion chambers. One or both of axial end surfaces of a cylindrical filter means 350 are formed as inclining end surfaces 351 which get narrower in the axial extending direction. A supporting member 353 for supporting the inclining end surfaces 351 of the filter means 350 which is expanded radially by passage of an activation gas is provided in the housing.

摘要： As for high strength stainless steels and method for manufacturing the high strength stainless steels, the strength of the stainless steels are enhanced by adding an appropriate amount of both nitrogen and niobium to austenitic stainless steels, inhibiting boron, an impure element, and decreasing the carbon content. The strength of the stainless steels are further enhanced by such heat treatment as control rolling and low temperature solution heat treatment applied to the stainless steels after the control rolling.

摘要： An emergency stop control circuit of a numerically controlled machine tool for controlling emergency stop signals. A relay circuit (1) is provided with input terminals connected to an emergency stop button (22), an overload switch (33), and overtravel switches (34, 35), which are the sources of all emergency stop signals generated by the numerically controlled machine tool. The relay circuit is also provided with output terminals, i.e., contacts (2a, 2b, 2c), connected as necessary to various units including for example, a numerical control apparatus, a servo amplifier, and a spindle amplifier. Accordingly, an emergency stop control circuit requiring only simple connections can be provided. This eliminates the need for a complicated wiring operation.

Adjusting data for use in adjusting parts of the copying system in the service program mode are entered from the keys, and the predetermined service program modes are automatically reset when the operation mode is changed from the service program mode to the copying mode.

摘要： A copier with an image editing function which extracts desired areas of a plurality of documents in an analog fashion and allows them to be edited on a single transfer sheet. The copier includes an erasing device for selectively erasing an image provided on a photoconductive element, a detaining device for temporarily detaining a transfer sheet, an image inputting device for inputting an image of an original document, and a display device for displaying an input condition. Desired areas of documents are specified and edited with the aid of displays and then copied. Where the specified areas of the documents overlap each other, one of them having priority over the other or a selected one of them is copied. The number of areas to be edited is open to choice. The specified areas are entered through editing keys and usual ten keys. The erasing device is driven by a controller which is responsive to digital signals which are derived from position setting knobs associated with two perpendicular scales. Different colors are used to in correspondence with specified areas or documents. After copying, sheets are stocked in different positions on the basis of an edited content. An image portion inside or outside a specified area is selectable.
