摘要： In a thyristor control device which converts a first AC voltage to a DC voltage and converts the DC voltage to a second AC voltage to be supplied to a synchronous motor, a DC voltage detector is configured to detect the DC voltage, and is provided with an AC voltage detector configured to detect the second AC voltage and an arithmetic circuit configured to determine the DC voltage on the basis of the second AC voltage detected by the AC voltage detector. As a result, there is no need to separately provide a DV voltage detector, which makes it possible to make the device compact in size and cheap in price.

摘要： An image processing apparatus obtains a black image captured in the light-shielded state, and applies a cyclic type filter to each line in a direction parallel to the streak in the black image, reducing random noise in the first direction. The image processing apparatus deletes, from a black image obtained by applying the cyclic type filter, lines in the second direction by the group delay of the cyclic type filter. Further, the image processing apparatus generates an image having a line count corresponding to the group delay by using a final line in the second direction in the image from which lines corresponding to the group delay have been deleted. The image processing apparatus adds the generated image to the image from which lines corresponding to the group delay have been deleted, and outputs the resultant image.

摘要： A bearing carrier and ring nut of a marine outboard drive both attach to a lower unit of the drive by rotating them in the same direction. The bearing carrier includes a threaded front end which screws into a threaded aperture within the lower unit. A ring nut locks the bearing carrier in place by screwing into a hole on the rear face of the lower unit. A locking tab washer desirably locks the ring nut in place. Because the threads on the bearing carrier and the ring nut are of the same hand, the ring nut does not loosen the bearing carrier when threaded into the hole of the lower unit rear face.

摘要： A lower unit of a marine outboard drive has a unique shape which inhibits boundary layer separation within the water flow stream over the lower unit regardless of the trim position of the lower unit. The lower unit includes a nacelle. The front nose of the nacelle blends smoothly into a supporting strut in a vertical direction to form a generally teardrop-like cross-sectional shape. The front end of the strut fairs the nacelle body from its sharp leading edge to give the lower unit a streamline shape at trim angles approaching a full trim up position of the lower unit. The leading edge of the strut also slopes rearward away from the front nose of the nacelle. The shape of this junction between the upper side of the nacelle and the strut front end gives the front end of the lower unit a generally constant streamline shape as the lower unit rotates through a range of trim angle positions.
