    摘要: A rolling mill includes a roll barrel having a straight region disposed at the middle thereof, sub-crown control regions disposed at both ends thereof, and main-crown control regions disposed between the straight region and the sub-crown control regions. The roll barrel has an outer surface having a bus bar which is a straight line inclined to a longitudinal axis of the roll barrel in the straight region, steep convex and concave curved shapes in the main-crown control regions, and gentle convex and concave curved shapes in the sub-crown control regions. The roll barrel has both ends having a diameter approximately equal to each other. The roll provides a large degree of freedom in designing curves to be applied to an outer surface of a roll barrel with the result that a larger crown control can be performed, and has a small number of factors for a vibration of a plate. The roll shift type rolling mill in accordance with the invention decreases an irregularity in plate thickness distribution at ends of a plate even when a plate having a width larger than specific maximum plate width is to be rolled.

    摘要: A recoiling facility for a magnesium alloy sheet is provided with: an unwinder which is able to unwind a coil material formed by winding magnesium alloy onto a fixed mandrel; a heating furnace which heats to a predetermined temperature the magnesium alloy sheet which has been unwound from the coil material; a trimmer which trims both side edges of the sheet; and a winder which rewinds the magnesium alloy sheet. According to the present invention, it is possible to rewind a coil material formed by winding a magnesium alloy sheet onto a fixed mandrel and remove the fixed mandrel, and to perform leveling and trimming on crack portions and shape defect portions in width end portions of a plate that have been generated by multi-pass rolling so as to manufacture a high-quality product coil.

    摘要: There are provided an even number of paired roll-shift type rolling mills 12a, 12b and a controller 16 for controlling the rolling mills 12a, 12b. Each of upper and lower work rolls 13 of each of the roll-shift type rolling mills has a predetermined crown curve and has a roll shifting mechanism 14 for axially shifting the upper and lower work rolls relative to each other. The controller 16 determines a shift amount of each rolling mill in order to obtain a predetermined cross section shape of a steel plate, shifts the work rolls of the rolling mill on the upstream side paired every rolling coil to thereby disperse wear on the roll surface, and moves the work rolls of the rolling mill on the downstream side of the pair in a predetermined direction by the same distance, thereby canceling the change in the cross section shape of the plate caused by the shifting operation for the wear dispersion.
