摘要： Support members are located near the corners of a pair of printed circuit cards for holding them together in a fixed, spaced-apart, adjacent and parallel relationship. Each card has a group of holes formed in the same pattern in each of the four corners thereof, at least one hole of each group extending all the way through the card. Each support member comprises a pair of plates that are joined together at a 90.degree. angle along one edges thereof. Load-bearing pegs project from parallel, non-joined together edges of one plate. Flexible posts project from parallel, non-joined together edges of the other plate. An arm extends from each post proximate the end thereof that is spaced from the other plate and in a direction substantially parallel to said parallel edges of the other plate. A post and peg are located on adjacent edges of the plates such that they fit into corresponding holes in the same group thereof on a PC card, with the arm extending through a hole and snapping over the associated card to hold it in place. The pegs operate as load-bearing members when axial pressure is exerted on the plates to insert a card into or remove it from a shelf.

摘要： The present invention is directed to aquatic systems and methods for off-shore energy production, and particularly to systems and methods for generating large amounts of methane via anaerobic digestion, purifying the methane produced, and sequestering environmentally deleterious by-products such as carbon dioxide. The energy production systems contain one or more flexible, inflatable containers supported by water, at least one of which is an anaerobic digester containing bacteria which can produce energy sources such as methane or hydrogen from aquatic plants or animals. The containers of the present invention can be large enough to provide adequate amounts of energy to support off-shore activities yet are relatively easy to manufacture and ship to remote production sites. The systems can also be readily adapted to sequester carbon dioxide or recycle nutrients for growing feedstocks on site.

摘要： A small-sized text input device is attachable to and removable from a game controller. The text input device can be sized and configured to fit between grip portions of the game controller, and can be attachable to the game controller with a separate attachment bracket. Different brackets can be used to attach the text input device to different types of game controllers. A game player holding the game controller can access the text keys of the text input device with his or her thumbs, and by making only minor (or no) adjustment to the position of his or her hands on the grip portions.

摘要： The carrier includes a main member supported rearwardly adjacent a vehicle by a coupler of the carrier inserted into the receiver of a vehicle mounted trailer hitch. The main member includes a curved portion extending transversely and rearwardly away from a straight segment of the main member disposed transversely of the vehicle-centerline. A swing arm is carried by a pivot at the extremity of the curved portion of the main member. A plate on the swing arm carries a lock assembly for securing the swing arm to and in parallel relationship with the main member during travel. A safety lanyard prevents accidental displacement of a locking pin inserted into the main member. The pivot is located adjacent the swing arm supported container and avoids extreme forces being imparted to the main member both in the travel position and a remote position permitting access to the rear of the vehicle.

摘要： A hand-held computer having a contoured housing with a head, a body, and a neck portion therebetween, the housing having a contoured protrusion positioned on the body portion substantially adjacent the hand-held computer's center of gravity. The contoured protrusion is sized and ergonomically shaped to correspond to a support portion of the person's hand between approximately the metacarpal-phalangeal joint ridge and the proximal phalangeal joints when the hand-held computer is carried by the person. The hand-held computer has a longitudinal axis and a display screen that is oriented at a positive angle relative to the longitudinal axis for improved viewing by the user of the display screen. The hand-held computer includes a scanning unit that scans along a scanning axis that is angled downwardly at a negative angle relative to the longitudinal axis. A plurality of computer keys define a keypad plane such that the tilted display screen is at a selected angle relative to the keypad plane. The computer keys have different heights or shapes to easily distinguish the computer keys by feel without requiring the user to visually identify different keypads.

摘要： A recreational ball rebound wall having a plurality of rigid, portable panels. The panels are supported in a vertical position by a pair of spaced apart support tracks. The panels are supported on the tracks by rollers whereby the panels are horizontally slidable in an abutting relationship. Alignment studs in the abutting edges of each of the panels and rods extending horizontally through the panels are provided for securing the panels in abutting relationship. Wedges are selectively inserted between at least one of the panels and the tracks to position the panels to form a flat, planar surface when the panels are in abutting relationship.
