摘要: The invention relates to a biogas plant for fermenting organic materials and for generating biogas, having a plurality of containers and/or tanks, which form at least one slurry store (7), at least one fermenter container (8) downstream of the slurry store (7), at least one post-fermenter container (9) downstream of the fermenter container (8) and/or at least one final storage container (10) downstream of the fermenter container (8). According to the invention it is provided that the entire functional biogas plant is, as a floating biogas plant, a component of a one-part or of a multi-part connected floating body.

摘要: The present invention is related to an anaerobic photobioreactor and a method for active biomass cultivation, wastewater treatment, nutrients recovery, energy production and high-value products synthesis. Phototrophic bacteria are cultured in the anaerobic photobioreactor lighted with solar or artificial irradiation where certain light wavelengths are selectively discarded with a light selector installed on the top of the photobioreactor. In this light-based process wastewater treatment and resources recovery, like nutrients and high-value bioproducts (fertilizers, polymers and proteins) present in wastewater are performed simultaneously. Cultured biomass is treated by anaerobic digestion for biofuel production, including optative hydrolytic pre-treatment, and/or valuable bioproducts can be obtained in a downstream process.

摘要: A system and apparatus for biomethanation and removing carbon dioxide from the methane comprises (a) a primary anaerobic digester adapted and arranged to generate a biogas mixture comprising methane and carbon dioxide from organic materials; (b) an electrochemical reactor adapted and arranged to capture carbon dioxide from the biogas as bicarbonate and to generate hydrogen by electrolytic water slitting, and (c) a biomethanation reactor adapted and arranged to convert the bicarbonate and hydrogen from the electrochemical reactor to methane. The electrochemical reactor also acidifies a saline process stream from the biomethanation reactor and returns the acidified process stream back into the biomethanation reactor for pH control in the biomethanation process.

摘要: A method for operating an agitating device and a digester, wherein the digester is filled with a substrate and an agitating device is in the digester. These steps are performed: a) A target load curve is lodged in the control device; b) the control device prescribes a target rotation speed; c) the control device operates the agitating device at an actual speed corresponding to a target speed; d) the control device captures an actual agitating device torque measurement value at the actual speed of rotation; e) the control device derives from the actual measurement value an actual characteristic value of the agitating device applied torque; f) the control device compares the derived actual characteristic value against the target characteristic value of the substrate resulting from the target load curve at the prescribed target speed; and g) the control device controls the agitating device in dependence on the result of comparison.

摘要: A digester system comprising a primary digester tank containing a primary feed material portion, a secondary digester tank containing a secondary feed material portion, a first conduit connected between the primary digester tank and the secondary digester tank to define a primary tank lower opening within the primary digester tank and a secondary digester tank lower opening within the secondary digester tank, and a flow control valve configured to allow or prevent flow of fluid through the first conduit. When the flow control valve is configured to allow flow of fluid through the first conduit, a portion of the primary feed material portion flows from the primary digester tank to the secondary digester tank to form the secondary feed material portion.

摘要: A fermentation unit and a method of carrying out fermentation are described. The fermentation unit can be transported from one facility to another to carry out a fermentation process. The fermentation unit and method allow for the fermentation of a C1-containing substrate from a source at a particular facility to produce products such as alcohols and acids. Examples of the source of the C1-containing substrate include without limitation steel manufacturing processes, coal and biomass gasification processes, coke manufacturing processes, etc. The fermentation unit can be housed within a container having a volume of less than about 6 m3.
