摘要: A method of dewatering a subsea pipeline bundle assembly before lifting the assembly from the seabed and an elongate carrier pipe comprising at least one internal fall that slopes downwardly towards a drainage outlet and at least one venturi formation that is aligned with the drainage outlet. The method comprises adding discrete buoyancy to the elongate carrier pipe that elevates the carrier pipe disposed between drainage outlets of the assembly. Each elevated portion defines inclined falls that slope downwardly in opposed longitudinal directions toward the respective outlets. Water within the carrier pipe drains down the falls toward the outlets. Injecting a dewatering fluid into the carrier pipe promotes expulsion of water from the pipe through the outlets by downward displacement of the water. Drainage may be assisted by a venturi effect driven by accelerating the flow of the dewatering fluid at a location in line with an outlet.

摘要: A float includes a body portion having a first side surface and a second side surface, an inner surface and an outer surface, the first and second side surfaces being generally planar and forming an acute angle therebetween, the inner and outer surfaces being non-planar, and the body portion configured such that when positioned laterally adjacent an inverted second float and vertically adjacent a third float, the first side surface of the float abuts a surface of the inverted second float, and the inner surface of the float engages an outer surface of the third float.

摘要: The present invention concerns a device for the transfer of cryogenic product from a first floating structure (330) for storing cryogenic product to a second fixed or floating structure for storing cryogenic product, comprising pipes (100) configured to transport the cryogenic product between a duct (300) linked to the first structure and a duct (200) linked to the second structure. Said pipes (100) are rigid, carried by buoyancy means (400) and fluidically connected in pairs by connection means (600) suitable for transporting the cryogenic product and allowing at least one degree of freedom. The present invention also concerns a method for retracting a device for the transport of cryogenic product.

摘要: An apparatus for securing to an outer surface of a segment of flexible pipe body, comprising an outer clamp portion around a region of flexible pipe body and comprising a plurality of outer body members each having an inner surface; and an inner clamp portion in an abutting relationship between the outer clamp portion and said flexible pipe body, comprising a plurality of inner body members each having an outer surface that comprises a mating region that has a shape that mates with a shape of a corresponding mating region of the inner surface of the outer clamp portion. Each mating region comprises at least one clamping surface region that in an imaginary plane that extends through and includes a primary axis of the pipe body, arranged oblique to the primary axis when the inner clamp portion is between the outer clamp portion and the pipe body.

摘要: Pipelines with a control system and forced circulation of fluids through the annulus between an inner barrier and an outer cover of a pipe use a system configured to force circulation of fluids through the annulus. The pipe includes segments (T1, T2, T3, TN) joined together by means of connectors, wherein each segment of the pipe has an injector pipe (I1, I2, I3, IN) for injecting fluid into the annulus at a first end of the segment, and a return pipe (R1, R2, R3, RN) for removing fluid from the annulus at a second end of the segment.

摘要: A clamping arrangement 10 of a buoyancy clamp assembly. The arrangement 10 includes three identical arcuate members 12 engageable together to define a ring. Each of the arcuate members 12 has three discrete resilient members 14 engageable on for instance a pipe 68. Engagement members 42 are provided extendable between adjacent pair of arcuate members 12 to prevent relative twisting of adjacent arcuate members 12.

摘要: A method for governing the elevation, attitude and structural integrity of a pressure-containing vessel in a body of liquid counterbalances flotation and incompressible ballast mediums against each other in separate serial compartments. Varying the quantity of incompressible ballast medium allows control of the elevation and attitude of the vessel. If the flotation medium is compressible, varying the quantity of flotation medium allows control of the ambient pressure of the vessel. The method facilitates floating and towing and laying of an undersea pipeline on, to and at a deep water site.

摘要: A flotation system includes one or more floatation modules, each having a first section and a second section, each having an internal core made of a buoyant material. The first section includes two end faces and a projection extending from one of the end faces. The projection has a contoured profile. The second section includes two end faces and a reciprocal recess in one of the end faces. The end faces of the first section engage the end faces of the second section such that the projection engages the reciprocal recess in a mating engagement. The outer surface of the flotation module include one or more grooves providing a pathway for the flow of circulation fluid. The floatation system may be attached to a tubular string during inner string cementing operations to reduce the load applied to the platform.
