Abstract: Included are a first cover base including an alkali glass layer, a first alkali-free glass layer provided on one face of the alkali glass layer, and a second alkali-free glass layer provided on another face of the alkali glass layer and a sensor that is provided on the first alkali-free glass layer of the first cover base and includes a plurality of first electrodes configured to detect the unevenness of a surface of an object to be detected that comes into contact with or close to the first cover base and a switching element. At least the first electrodes are formed above the first alkali-free glass layer and in a transmissive area that passes an image.

Abstract: According to an aspect, a fingerprint detection device includes: a substrate; a plurality of drive electrodes provided on one surface side of the substrate and arranged in a first direction; a plurality of detection electrodes provided on the one surface side and arranged in a second direction intersecting the first direction; and an insulating layer provided in a normal direction of the substrate between each of the drive electrodes and the corresponding detection electrodes. The detection electrodes intersect the drive electrodes in the normal direction of the substrate. The detection electrodes include: a first metallic layer; and a second metallic layer positioned closer to the one surface than the first metallic layer to the one surface. The first metallic layer has a reflectance of visible light lower than that of the second metallic layer.

Abstract: A display apparatus capable of reducing the lowering of detection sensitivity is provided. A display apparatus provided with a pixel array having a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix form includes: detection electrodes which are in parallel with each other, which are arranged so as to extend in a first direction, and which are connected so as to form a magnetic-field detection coil; and a detection electrode having one end which is arranged inside the magnetic-field detection coil and which is connected to the magnetic-field detection coil, and the other end which is electrically insulated from the magnetic-field detection coil. At the time of each of the magnetic field detection and the electric field detection, an external object is detected based on a change in a signal in the detection electrodes.
