摘要： The apparatus for packing cylindrical stacks of a plurality of disk-like workpieces, particularly covers, positioned beside each other with equal numbers of workpieces, in a jacket made of wrapping paper has at least one receiving trough for the stacks and clamping rails movable laterally into a raised position and raisable and lowerable as well as movable toward each other associated with it for transferring the stack into a wrapping station provided laterally beside the receiving trough with drivable supporting rollers for the stack. At least one pressing roll running parallel to the supporting rollers is lowerable in the wrapping station to the stack and a longitudinally movable carriage is provided with a pressure-limiting contacting member for pressing the stack against a fixed support. A carriage-mounted cutter for cutting away the edge of the paper wrapped around the stack is located on the carriage. The carriage and the support are equipped with folding fingers for forming closed rosettes and mechanisms for applying adhesive closing strips to the rosettes.

摘要： A device for wet porocessing of photographic films comprises a film processing device and a storage container for storing a processing liquid supplied to the film processing device. The film processing device has a housing which is formed as a container in which a bath of the processing liquid is located and through which a film base is guided by means of rotary inlet rollers, rinsing rollers and squeezing rollers. The pair of rinsing rollers are each positioned in a cage which is extended to form a liquid-distributing channel connected to a respective feeding conduit leading from the storage container. A conduit system for continually renewing the processing liquid in the device is provided.

摘要： Apparatus for transferring sheets from a relatively wide or relatively narrow stack of sheets into a transporting device has a pair of suction cups which engage the leader of the topmost sheet in the stack and turn it through 90.degree. so that the leader becomes separated from the leader of the sheet therebelow. The suction cups are thereupon raised to the level of the nips of driven advancing rolls in the transporting device to move the leader into a plane which includes the nips and is parallel to the planes of sheets in the stack, and such leader is introduced into the nips so that the advancing rolls engage the leader while the latter becomes detached from the suction cups. The suction cups engage only a portion of the leader of a relatively wide sheet, and the remainder of the leader is flexed with the engaged portion to ensure that it enters a path which is defined by additional advancing rolls of the transporting device simultaneously with entry of the engaged portion of the leader into the nips of the driven advancing rolls. The apparatus can be used with advantage for removal of successive topmost X-ray films from a stack of films regardless of the width and/or height of the stack. The suction cups descend from the level of the nips to the level of the topmost sheet in the stack as soon as the transfer of the preceding sheet is completed and along a path such that each of a series of successive properly stacked sheets is engaged at the same distance from its leading edge.

摘要： A cassette with two chambers for discrete cut films has a centrally disposed plate-like partition with two identical sides, and a pair of identical covers each of which is adjacent to a different side of the partition and is pivotably attached to the partition by a hinge for movement between an open and a closed position. The covers have exposure apertures and carry slidable plate-like shutters which can slide in slots of the respective covers to permit or prevent entry of light by way of the respective apertures. The film chambers are separated from each other by the central portion of the partition, and the latter further carries locks for releasably holding the covers in their closed positions. The lock for one of the covers is provided at that side of the partition which is adjacent to the other cover, and vice versa. The hinge or hinges for one of the covers are provided on a first marginal portion of the substantially rectangular partition, and the lock for such one cover is provided on a second marginal portion which is parallel to the first marginal portion. The hinge or hinges and the lock for the other cover are respectively provided on the second and first marginal portions of the partition.

摘要： Apparatus for developing latent images of X-rayed objects on dielectric receptor sheets has a carrier which advances receptor sheets along a circular path about a horizontal axis. A tank with an open top is installed below the six o'clock position of the carrier and contains a horizontal developing electrode having narrow elongated channels extending in parallelism with the axis of the carrier. A pump draws liquid developer from a vessel in which the tank is confined and admits the developer into the bottom zone of the tank wherein the developer rises to fill and flow above the channels of the electrode and to thereby contact the latent image of a sheet on the moving carrier. The surplus of liquid developer overflows the upper edge of the tank and returns into the vessel. The electrode is movable up and down by rotary eccentrics to thereby influence the development of latent images, especially the development of outlines of dark portions of the images.
