    摘要: A printing mechanism is described comprising a plurality of type carriers (12, 34) which on their outer peripheral face carry in one region printing types and in another region indicator types (44). The printing types can be brought by turning the type carriers (12, 34) into a printing position. A setting means (32, 20, 24) including an actuating knob (32) can be brought into a drive connection with each of the type carriers (12, 34) for rotation thereof. Stop means (100, 102, 104, 106, 110) limit the turning travel of the type carriers (12, 34). With a detent moment governed by their spring hardness resilient detent elements (96) hold the actuating knob (32) against a rotation relatively to the type carrier (12, 34) in drive connection with the setting means (32, 20, 24), the detent moment being greater than the torque necessary to rotate the type carriers (12, 34). A setting member (112) for influencing the spring hardness of the detent elements (96) can be brought into engagement with said detent elements (96).

    摘要: A hand-held labeller for printing and/or applying self-adhesive labels which adhere as a strip or separately at equal distances on a carrier strip, the apparatus comprising a frame; a supply member mounted with respect to the frame for mounting the carrier strip and labels; a label separation member mounted with respect to the frame; a feed wheel or winding drum mounted with respect to the frame; means for guiding the carrier strip from the supply member by the label separation member and then to the feed wheel; a hand lever so pivotally mounted with respect to the frame that the lever may be pivoted by an operator's hand as the labeller is being held in the hand of an operator; coupling means for coupling the hand lever to the feed wheel to operate the feed wheel each time the hand lever is pivoted and thus advance the carrier strip from the supply member so that the labels are successively separated from the carrier strip at the label separation member and the carrier strip is incrementally wound upon the feed wheel; sensing means for sensing the advancement of the carrier strip a predetermined distance; de-coupling means for de-actuating the coupling means so that the hand lever is de-coupled from the feed wheel in response to the sensing means sensing the advancement of the carrier strip the predetermined distance and thus ensure that the feed wheel advances the carrier strip the predetermined distance each time the hand lever is actuated regardless of the amount of carrier strip wound upon the feed wheel.

For axially securing the inking roller on the journal pivot pin, within the housing of the manual labelling device, there can be at least one raised, guide track in the form of a circular arc, on the housing of the labelling device, and on the side opposite to the pivoting lever. This guide track essentially corresponds to the path of the inking roller on the pivoting lever as the pivoting lever is moved during a labelling operation, and thus supports the inking roller from moving axially off of the pivot pin during movement of the pivoting lever during the labelling operation.

    摘要: A printing mechanism comprises a housing (12, 14) in which a plurality of coaxially disposed setting wheels (16) are arranged with which type carriers (20) carrying printing types (22) are in a drive connection and can be brought into predetermined setting positions. A setting shaft (42) extends through center openings disposed in the hub region of the setting wheels (16), the setting shaft (42) being mounted rotatably and axially displaceably in a wall (15) of the housing. The shaft carries at one end at least one driver (36, 38) which by axial displacement of the setting shaft (42) is adapted to be brought into engagement with radial recesses (47) formed in the hub region of the setting wheels (16). At its other end the setting shaft (42) carries an actuating knob (48). At least two detent elements are provided for arresting the setting wheels (16) on rotation thereof and holding the setting wheels (16) in their rest position. The one detent element (70-76, 90) is so formed that it is in operative connection with the particular setting wheel (16a) selected and in addition at the most with the setting wheels (16) arranged between the selected setting wheel (16a) and the other end of the setting shaft (42).
