摘要: A digital photo frame (DPF) includes a power source, a display panel, a light detector, a motion detector, a processing unit, and a power management unit. The light detector is configured to detect the ambient brightness. The motion detection unit is configured to detect whether anyone is around. The processing unit is connected to the light detector and the motion detector. If the motion detector detects someone is around the DPF and the light detector detects the ambient brightness is below a predetermined value, the processing unit controls the power management unit to provide power to the display panel.

摘要: An incoming call prompting method is provided. The method includes the step of: providing a data storage for storing a note table, a melodic companion table, and an audio clip database; receiving an incoming call and sending the incoming call to a decoder to phone number of the incoming call; storing the phone number in the data storage; obtaining a predetermined digit set from the incoming call phone number stored in the data storage; obtaining the assigned note of each digit of the digit set, and piecing together a melodious sequence of note based upon a pre-determined algorithm guiding selection and sequencing of a combination of the primary notes and/or companion notes of the melodic companion table to edit a melody; and obtaining and outputting audio clip of each note of the edited melody in turn to generate a music.

摘要: The present invention provides a robot apparatus with a vocal interactive function. The robot apparatus 1 receives a vocal input from the ambient environment, such as a user, and the vocal input is a conversation voice or an evaluation voice. The robot apparatus 1 receives a conversation voice from the user at first, and generates output data responding to the conversation voice, and receives an evaluation voice from the user. The evaluation voice is a response from the user to the output data, and the robot apparatus 1 updates a weighted value of the output data based on the user response. Consequently, the robot apparatus may output different and variable output data when receiving the same vocal input. The present invention also provides a vocal interactive method adapted for the robot apparatus.

摘要: A displaying device includes an input unit, a region defining unit, a content allocating unit, an obtaining unit, a display controlling unit and a display unit. The region defining unit defines regions by incorporating one or more unit regions in each of the regions according to users' selections and generates region defining information. The content allocating unit allocates contents for the regions according to the users' selections and generates content allocating information. The obtaining unit obtains the region defining information, the content allocating information, and contents according to the content allocating information, and then transmits the information and contents to the display controlling unit. The display controlling unit splits a display area of the display unit into the regions defined by the region defining unit and displays the contents in the regions correspondingly according to the content allocating information. Related methods are also provided.

摘要: A bus stop includes a storage unit, a communicating unit, a display unit, and a control unit. The communicating unit communicates with a server which is in communication with a plurality of buses, a plurality of stops which the buses will pass, and current locations of the buses. The display unit displays at least one route consisting of a plurality of bus stops including the bus stop. The control unit generates a request signal carrying the location of the bus stop to the server. The server determines current locations of the buses on a route which includes the bus stop, compares the real-time locations with the location of the bus stop to select a nearest bus travelling towards the bus stop. The display unit display a mark marking the bus stop. A related system is also provided.
