摘要: A leakage diagnostic system for making a judgement of leakage of a fuel purge system, which has in order from the side of a fuel tank a control valve, a canister and a purge valve disposed in a purge passage and a relief valve isolating the canister from the atmosphere, based on a rising rate of pressure in the purge passage between the fuel tank and the intake system isolated from the atmosphere after lowering and keeping the interior of the purge passage below specified negative pressure level for a specified period of time. When the interior of the fuel tank increases above a threshold level after a specified period of time, the leakage diagnostic system delivers a judgement of leakage of the purge system.

摘要: A coaxial pin array connector comprises a top member having guide holes corresponding to coaxial cables, and an intermediate, conductive member having throughholes, respectively corresponding to and aligned with the guide holes. A bottom, insulative member is provided having first throughholes for admitting signal pins of a circuit board and second throughholes for admitting grounding pins of the circuit board and recesses for receiving power pins of the circuit board. Conductive cylindrical hollow structures are respectively positioned in the throughholes of the intermediate member and extend between the top and bottom members to allow the coaxial cable pins to be admitted from the guide holes to the bottom member and make electrical contact with the signal pins. Each of the hollow structures has inwardly bent contacts for making pressure contact with the pin of a corresponding coaxial cable and an outwardly bent contact forming a pair of contacts with the outwardly bent contact of an adjacent hollow structure so that one of the grounding pins engages between the paired contacts when inserted through one of the second throughholes of the bottom member.

摘要: A fuel control system for an automobile engine includes various sensors for detecting the running conditions of the engine, an injector or injectors for supplying fuel to the engine, and a control unit for reducing or cutting the amount of fuel to be supplied to the engine in response to the sensors at the time of deceleration and for controlling the injectors so that the amount of fuel to be supplied to the engine at the time of removal of deceleration is less than the normal amount corresponding to the running conditions of the engine. The control unit further operates so that the amount of reduction of the fuel supply is less in an engine equipped with an automatic transmission than in an engine equipped with a manual transmission. The control unit also operates so that the initial amount of fuel to be supplied to the engine at the time of removal of deceleration is less in the engine equipped with the manual transmission than in the engine equipped with the automatic transmission. In addition, the control unit can operate so that the rate of increase of fuel up to the normal amount after the removal of deceleration is less in the engine of the former type than in the engine of the latter type.

摘要: A contact has a spring section, and a pair of contact points. The spring section is formed as a single closed loop of material, prepared from Ni alloy. The loop may be subjected to elastic deformation through force. The pair of contact points formed in such way that the contact points project outwardly at positions separated from one another, the contact points positioned by about half way around the loop of the spring section. The pair of contact points capable of meeting with and coming into with terminals.

摘要: A method for producing a porous cross-linked polymer sheet capable of slicing quickly is provided. This method comprises a step for obtaining a porous cross-linked polymer by forming and polymerizing an HIPE, a step for dehydrating the porous cross-linked polymer, and a step for subsequently slicing the dehydrated porous cross-linked polymer. According to this invention, by performing the step of dehydration prior to the conventional step of slicing, it is made possible to prevent the porous cross-linked polymer from adhering to the blade and the guides provided for a slicer, and allow the slicing to be attained quickly. By removing the salt from the polymer, it is further made possible to prevent a production device from gathering rust and the porous cross-linked polymer from permitting adhesion of rust thereto.

摘要: An object of this invention is to provide a method for the production of a porous cross-linked polymer, which permits the polymerization (curing) of a water in oil type high internal phase emulsion (HIPE) in such an exceptionally brief time as not more than 30 minutes, preferably not more than 10 minutes without impairing the stability of the HIPE. The object of this invention mentioned above can be accomplished by a method for the production of a porous cross-linked polymer which comprises steps of mixing an oil phase containing a polymerizing monomer, a cross-linking monomer, and a surfactant as essential components with a water phase containing water as an essential component thereby obtaining a water in oil type high internal phase emulsion and heating said emulsion to a prescribed curing temperature thereby polymerizing the emulsion, wherein said emulsion is formed in a thickness of not more than 50 mm and the temperature-increasing rate of the emulsion is not less than 5° C./minute.
